While I spend a few more days getting used to the new Target Computer and variable context flows I built into ACK I've learned these methods work a bit too well. Decided rebuilding manual input around these changes was needed. MATRIX and Quick Actions decks are meant for easy to adjust one-off phrases and such. A composer that uses the same features to assist with adjusting these smaller replies can unlock more structured statements. Things you want to say that require a bit more to convey than a few simple words. Planning an outing, getting the gang together for an activity, managing your more complicated social obligations. Sometimes you just need more space to get those words out. Build statements using the same variable structure used throughout ACK. Create mutable statements that adjust with the context set by your active Target Computer and deck selection, or stick with a more traditional locked composition by pulling in the word/phrase assigned to a variable. You can also organize and group the statements you create here, so managing how you'll present them is effortless. These are not meant to stay inside of ACK, you can copy a statement you compose in ACK for use in other apps as well, it pulls from your active context for any variable entries used in composition so you can offer a clean reply in a messaging app, chat window, or email. This replaces the old Manual Input screen. For now I retained the old UI and flow with an /m switch in the terminal. Should be up tonight after I give it a few more hours of fiddling.
