A passenger on the Dubai–Tel Aviv flight recounts:
“We are currently in Saudi Arabia.
One of the crew members attacked the pilot with a knife and disabled the aircraft’s systems. Yaniv (pictured?) and another passenger stormed the cockpit and subdued the attacker.
Luckily, there were two more pilots on board. They were the ones who managed to land the plane.”

Uniforms of the Iranian top brass IRGC and Army officers who were killed in the recent wars were shown in the Janfada exercise and parade today in Tehran.
Ironically, such a display would have made more sense at an American or Israeli military event than an Iranian one.

بسیار خطرناک است و از آن دسته زرنگ بازی هایی می تواند بشود که افراد را در موقعیت خطرناک یا با نتیجه معکوس قرار بدهد. سازمانهای شبه نظامی جمهوری اسلامی مثل گنگهای خیابانی هستند و بدون اینکه وفاداری مرحله به مرحله با تبهکاری نشان داده شود کسی ارتقا پیدا نمی کند که مستقیم بفرستندش آموزش نظامی بگیرد. به نظرم این بیشتر برای توسعه و بازسازی شبکه ی خبرچین ها در محلات است و آموزش نظامی نقش تله را دارد.

جمهوری اسلامی فقط با سرکوب زنده نیست، با شبکه‌ای از پول و دلال و واسطه نفس می‌کشه؛ شبکه‌ای که در سایه و با کمک هزاران آدم به ظاهر عادی از کارمند و بازرگان و تاجر و کنسرت‌گذار و سلبریتی و نخبه و ...، کار می‌کنه.
افشای اطلاعات این افراد و شبکه‌ها نقطه‌ای رو نشونه می‌گیره که حکومت آسیب پذیرتره و شهروند امن‌تر. در اعتراضات خیابانی این مسئله برعکسه. این شکل از جنگیدن با یک دستگاه امنیتی جنگیدن در زمینی است که خودمون قواعدش رو نوشتیم و ریسک اون رو و توانایی خودمون رو می‌شناسیم. بی‌صدا و در سکوت جوری بخورن که نفهمند از کجا خوردند.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the largest-ever Israeli landing operation in #Syria.
120 IDF commandos, flown in by helicopters, landed near Masyaf (W. #Hama) at an underground missile-manufacturing facility linked to Iran.
Roads leading to the site were bombed to block pro-Assad reinforcements - attack left at least 16 dead, mostly guards protecting the facility.

The commandos entered the underground complex, seized documents & materials - and ultimately blew up the facility with explosives placed inside.
The video of the unprecedented operation, which lasted 2.5 hours, was released one month after Assad's fall.
Today is the anniversary of the massive Israeli strike on Assad's nuclear reactor in Kibar.
Built on the #Euphrates with N. Korean experts, it was well outside Israel's usual surveillance zone - and was detected only at an advanced stage.
On that night in 2007, Israel dropped 18 tons of bombs, obliterating Assad's clandestine nuclear site in seconds.
Israel expected Assad to retaliate.
Instead, he claimed that nothing important was hit.
His UN Ambassador claimed Syrian air defenses repelled the attack, forcing the Israeli jets to "drop their ammunition and fuel tanks" without any target being hit:
