YOU'RE NOT PAYING TAXES FOR THE PROPERTY, YOU'RE PAYING YOUR TOWN FOR THE SERVICES IT PROVIDES. THE ROADS, POLICE, SCHOOLS, FIRE DEPARTMENT, LIBRARY, SNOW PLOWS, EMERGENCY SERVICES AND SO MUCH MORE.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

It’s very funny some people try to pretend Kamala Harris was Nostradamus for saying “Trump as president will be bad”.
The first Democratic nominee for POTUS to lose the popular vote since I was in middle school doesn’t strike me as the person best suited to be our nominee again.

Georgi Kabakov will be the referee for Viking Stavanger vs FC Bayern.
Almost a year ago to the day, the Bulgarian received an indefinite suspension in his home country for inexplicably failing to intervene as VAR official when a player handled the ball with both hands before assisting.
The ban was lifted a month later.
He was then at the centre of further controversies and was omitted from appointments as recently as April 2026.

Max Eberl: "[Zlatko Tripić] played like a scumbag. He wanted to win the game. We fell for his provocation and he got what he wanted by getting one of our players sent off"

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

It’s people like @SarahLongwell25 are why we don’t have Medicare for All and why ICE won’t be prosecuted for their crimes.
Let me be clear, @SarahLongwell25 isn't just wrong, she and her ilk are intentionally trying to tank any leftward movement in the Democratic party.
I have no respect for any of these charlatans who get paid to promote suffering.

Ukraine shredding Russian bot networks and saving Western democracy as a result would be an absolutely wild victory.
Which is yet another reason why we need to keep funding and supporting Ukraine by giving them the weaponry they need to win.

Another display of moral depravity from Speaker Menin. Whether celebrating Christopher Columbus’s murderous legacy or meeting with Isaac Herzog, who declared that “there are no innocent civilians in Gaza,” she never misses an opportunity to honor those responsible for genocide.
What an honor to march as a Grand Marshal in today’s 44th Annual Brooklyn Columbus Day Parade!
Over 800,000 Italian Americans across the five boroughs call this city their home — from Howard Beach to Arthur Avenue; from Mulberry Street to Morris Park.
At the City Council, whether we’re marching together or celebrating the Feast of San Gennaro, we are committed to championing the beautiful culture that generations of Italian Americans have brought to our city.

It's always the same tiny powerless sects that don't have any tactics other than targeting prominent left-wing figures and hurling the most vitriolic, most ridiculous things they can at them, purely for attention. They go viral, accomplish nothing else, and rinse and repeat. Yawn

All das passiert zeitgleich. Es ist nicht nur eine Ablenkung vom eigentlichen Problem. Es ist auch der Grund für das Problem. Deutschland, das sind wir. Das ist unser Land nun. Wieder.

There isn't this clean break that former Republicans want to pretend that there is.
