Really good summation of this whole tragedy.
Over a year ago, we set out to learn what Monsanto and BASF knew about the damage their #dicamba products would cause.
It turns out, the companies not only knew that it would cause damage, but counted on the harm to sell more:

Monsanto, BASF Get $265M Dicamba Verdict Slashed To $75M - Law360 law360.com/articles/1332647/…
Letting the verdict stand is critical. #dicamba moves and they knew it but promoted it anyway. How do you value the price of intentional bad actions?
Yesterday during the dicamba webinar I asked a simple question but got no answer. If dicamba doesn't volatize why do we need to buy a new product to reduce volatility? Were you lieing then or lieing now. Still waiting an answer. #Dicamba
Really? That's what will be safer? Failure to the highest degree! #Dicamba

Great article about #dicamba and the reregistration attempts... but I must have missed something. For 5 years we were told this didn't volatize but now we have a new additive to reduce volatility? Brilliant move. Just saying'!
Iowa weed scientist says dicamba injury was ‘most extensive’ in 2020 brownfieldagnews.com/news/io…
I think I must be confused. If #dicamba isn't volatile as we've been told, why spend the time, money and effort to create a new non-volatile formulation? Just askin'.
To all of those Kool-ade drinkers who continue to deny that #Dicamba could possibly move where it's not wanted, take a look at this scientific report from Iowa. Case closed!

The advent and continued use of #Dicamba in our area since 2016 has caused a lot more stress and anxiety than a mere "unsettled undertone."
2020 #dicamba season is upon us in IN. Entire field is smoked. Why should this innocent victim suffer because of the arrogance of both the system and applicator who feel their rights are superior? Reregistration? You must be kidding me. Put down the Kool Aid and be responsible.
Let's check the score on #Dicamba. Bader case loss. Registration vacated. MDL cases settled for 400 million. That makes it 0 for 3. Think there really might be a problem with this product after all or are all applicators suddenly idiots or their lawyers inept?

For all who are placing their future hopes for weed control on #dicamba needs to read this article. You might be changing your enthusiasm about this product.
Read all the comments on how we got where we are with #dicamba and who the anger should be directed to.

Hope the EPA is listening this time! #dicamba is inconsistent with Midwestern agriculture.
EPA is hoping to make a decision on #dicamba registrations late this summer. Here are the recommendations of state regulators, who have policed dicamba use for four long years: dtnpf.com/agriculture/web/ag…
Normally you have a good handle on things, but you are dead wrong about H2A ag workers. It doesn't matter how much you pay, regular Americans simply will not do the jobs on farms, the work is beneath them, it's not wages.
There is a new app showing where you can find someone willing to risk applying #dicamba.

Please contact them and remind them the risk of the blackeye of agriculture and their own liability risk is exposed by usage. What level of risk is acceptable?
Is it possible to get a declaration to social distance #Dicamba from every sensitive plant? Just sayin'!
USDA advisory committee recommends suspension of dicamba use | Morning Ag Clips morningagclips.com/usda-advi… Maybe tide might be turning on #dicamba between the recent peach court victory and official recognition at the USDA level. Farm country doesn't need a 2nd pestilence in 2020
And this surprises us how?#dicamba is doomed either from not working, or regulatory folks getting their act together, or from economics of applicators figuring out their liability risk is not acceptable. I'm not sure which horse to bet on, maybe all will join forces in victory.
You can't keep pigweed down long.
"Just as we expected, further research is confirming that #dicamba is in the initial stages of failure against Palmer amaranth."
