In just 2 weeks, I’m headed to NYC (Astoria, Queens) to teach a 10-week C#/.NET coding bootcamp! I’m honored and excited to have this opportunity to help these students on their journey to become developers 🎉🙌

A trans friend of mine said that after Twitter stopped banning trans harassment, it took only 12 hours before she started getting death threats. Do we have Free Speech if bullies are allowed to make people afraid to speak?

Recently @Treehouse downsized to about 10% and a lot of talented individuals got impacted. Here's a list of folks with their job titles and their LinkedIn profiles: docs.google.com/spreadsheets…
If you have any openings with these positions, I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

Many of my former coworkers at @Treehouse were just let go. These incredibly talented devs, designers, and production staff won't be available for long, so take a look! docs.google.com/spreadsheets…
If you've ever benefitted from Treehouse, return the favor and share this! ♥️
Hey @Tesla, why is it so incredibly slow to login to your website and check the status of your car delivery? Is it just me or are others consistently experiencing this same problem?
Congrats @DrTarikaBarrett 👏
Honored to be named the next CEO of @GirlsWhoCode & to build upon the amazing foundation laid by @ReshmaSaujani.
As I pick up the baton, my focus will be to remove obstacles that continue to stand in the way of young women reaching their full potential.
Seen any of these folks in meetings lately? It's easy to misinterpret body language. So while it's important to consider what our appearance communicates to others, it's equally important not jumping to conclusions about what someone is thinking based solely on their appearance.
Got the office all setup for the first day of class next week with the new Dev10 cohort. New couch and some fun lighting options. Also reorganized my desk to eliminate some clutter. Let’s go 🙌
Another new toy! With the Dev10 class starting next week, I was looking for a way to do whiteboarding online within Zoom. Now I just need to work on my drawing skills 😂
Sometimes it’s the simple things in life. I can’t believe that I didn’t get a USB charging hub sooner 😂
While I'll always be very grateful for the opportunities that App Academy has provided me over the last year, it's time for a new challenge. Next week, I'll be joining Genesis10's Dev10 Program (genesis10.com/dev10-consulta…) as a Lead Instructor.

I'm not an expert on the topic of defunding the police, but as an educator, the idea of reducing our investment in policing to increase funding in affordable housing, job training, education, and healthcare resonants tremendously with me.

Guess who has two thumbs and is recording Python content? This guy! Proud of the work that the team at App Academy has done in creating the new JavaScript/Python web development 24-week online bootcamp. Check it out at appacademy.io/immersive/cour… #javascript #python #webdevelopment
I've had the pleasure to work with and manage Ashley. Simply put, she's amazing! If you need someone with her skills and experience, she'd be an invaluable addition to your team.
