Hmm...Here’s a better idea.
If Bernie’s 5% billionaire wealth tax passed:
-Musk would owe $46 billion in taxes
-Every working family of 4 would get $12,000
-Childcare would be universal for every kid
And Musk would be worth $874 billion - more than he had on September 2, 2026.

“The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous.” — George Orwell, 1984
Defense contractors & their powerful lobby will never be satisfied with simply aiding the U.S. in building a strong military that is prepared for war.
The nature of the industry’s existence is not patriotism, but endless conflict. War is their business model—a perpetual state of war ensures a perpetual demand for their products.
Until we address this issue, we will continue to be subjected to forever wars that only serve the defense contractors—and the warmongering interests wealthy enough to rent the defense contractors.
Stop spilling American blood for profit.

This was and is truly the Entire Point of Republican governance.
“American pre-tax corporate earnings have grown by $1.2trn, or 30%. … And yet Uncle Sam is seeing little of the benefit. Taxes on corporate profits have collapsed.”

Hi. 😊 Swedish dude here.
When our children get sick, we have 60 paid days per year to stay home with them.
Per parent.
They're separate from my 25 paid vacation days.
Meaning I don't have to use my own paid sick leave.
If I'm a single parent: 120 days.
If my child has a chronic illness: 120 days
If my child is hospitalized: unlimited days.
These days reset every January.
By law. every year until child is 18.

This comes after Trump's unhinged rants complaining about Smithsonian museums discussing "how bad Slavery was."

The conversion of the GOP into an openly authoritarian party in its domestic and foreign policies is one of the biggest stories of the 21st century.

Instead of trying to capture the excitement Dem voters have for new ideas and to perhaps right this ship--now well off course by any measure--the Democratic establishment seems to prefer that AES lose. Tanden, her apologists, and a complicit media can eat a bag of dicks.

🚨 DATAREPUBLICAN.COM LIVES AGAIN: DSA EXPLORER 🚨
🕸️ MAP THE FAR-LEFT NETWORK AND THEIR FOREIGN SUPPORTS. 🌹
I've just launched the DSA Explorer, an interactive map of the Democratic Socialists of America and the wider anti-imperialist solidarity network. This map is based on over a year's worth of research that's collected within my setup.
Click any org, person, or project and walk the network one tie at a time. Start at DSA and see where it leads.
🖥️ Data-heavy! Best viewed on desktop.
📖 This is a preview of what's coming: DataRepublican v2.0 — a full site redesign — launches soon, ahead of my and @JoshuaLisec book UNELECTED (Passage Press, Oct 13).
And, yes, I can build similar maps for the Soros network, democracy organizations, and much more.

Almost everyone is against Flock cameras and the AI surveillance state, right now.
But if we don't abolish them soon, in a few years most people won't care about them anymore.
A generation later, they'll think we'd have total chaos without them.
The time to end them is now.

From the official DHS account. Doesn’t get much more un-American than this. If you’re not alarmed you’re not paying attention.
Trump is deeply disapproved of across North Carolina, and Nov. is a referendum on this truly epic disaster.
One candidate, @JenBalkcom, is tied at the hip to Trump and afraid to distance herself.
The other candidate, @JamieAgerNC, ain't afraid one bit.

It’s genuinely alarming that this isn’t dominating the news cycle. A senior White House advisor is calling for the mass deportation of millions of Americans based on their religion a direct assault on the founding principles of this country. This deserves outrage, not silence.
I don’t want Muslims in positions of elected office and I don’t want Muslims having financial ties to the GOP.
I don’t like Islam. If I could wave a magic wand, I would round up Muslims and deport them from America.
Most MAGA voters agree with me.
Good luck running for office and trying to convince the MAGA base that we need more Muslims in America.
Good luck.

Not sure there's a better example of old thinking Dem strategists missing the mark than Axelrod's in response to Ossoff's remarks. Dems need better fighters.

No one has been more consistently eloquent or incisive in exposing @realDonaldTrump than @Ossoff. The paragraph from his weekend speech that has gotten so much attention was a brutal takedown.
But two words in it, "with Natalie" seemed gratuitous and unnecessary.
They juiced the virality of it, I'm sure. Probably thrilled some in the base, who figured it was just giving Trump a taste of his own nasty medicine.
But they distracted and detracted from the power of the message.
