Just saw this with the Black Eye Film Club on Sunday. A harrowing look at a Black man struggling with his mental/emotional health. Damn near 50 years later, still just as relevant.

I can be aggy all week but when Slow Drag come around and I get somebody's son to take my hand, lead me to the dance floor and hold me to some Delfonics or Love Unlimited, instant mood elevator.

I see why y'all be so angry/hurt/frustrated tho. you need somebody to hold you close and sing some Teddy P in your ear.

The number of people who say they've never slow danced is upsetting me & my homegirls.
