Stoked to share I’m joining the @XBOX team as CTO. I’ve been a gamer all my life and XBOX fan since day 1, so it’s a dream to help build what comes next. Thanks for the opportunity to help create the future of play, @asha_shar. Let’s get to work.

Call me a buzzkill but I don’t think we should allow companies to take over the entire night sky with an ad for their product

I strongly believe there are entire companies right now under heavy AI psychosis and its impossible to have rational conversations about it with them. I can't name any specific people because they include personal friends I deeply respect, but I worry about how this plays out.
I lived through the great MTBF vs MTTR (mean-time-between-failure vs. mean-time-to-recovery) reckoning of infrastructure during the transition to cloud and cloud automation. All those arguments are rearing their ugly heads again but now its... the whole software development industry (maybe the whole world, really).
It's frightening, because the psychosis folks operate under an almost absolute "MTTR is all you need" mentality: "its fine to ship bugs because the agents will fix them so quickly and at a scale humans can't do!" We learned in infrastructure that MTTR is great but you can't yeet resilient systems entirely.
The main issue is I don't even know how to bring this up to people I know personally, because bringing this topic up leads to immediately dismissals like "no no, it has full test coverage" or "bug reports are going down" or something, which just don't paint the whole picture.
We already learned this lesson once in infrastructure: you can automate yourself into a very resilient catastrophe machine. Systems can appear healthy by local metrics while globally becoming incomprehensible. Bug reports can go down while latent risk explodes. Test coverage can rise while semantic understanding falls. Changes happens so fast that nobody notices the underlying architecture decaying.
I worry.
No you fucking idiot.
Computing needs to get better at using electricity.
The human brain runs at 20 WATTS.
This conman wants to build TERAWATTS so chatbots can hallucinate faster.
The LLM approach is FUNDAMENTALLY WRONG and he’s too stupid and arrogant to get it.

I am asking you to restore 1940s technology so that you can listen to baseball the way it was meant to be.
How to get to $1 million MRR in 90 days:
- Raise $$$ from VCs
- Spend $1M on your friend's SaaS
- They spend $1M on yours
- Tweet you got to $1M MRR in 90 days
- Cancel the subscription after one month cause now you already tweeted it
- Use that month * 12 to say you got to $12M ARR now
Congrats, you did it!
Some hyper-growth stories are believable. Others are not.
Claude / Anthropic is doing crazy revenue numbers and it checks out, literally everyone I know is using it.
Other startups claiming “$1 million MRR in 90 days” and nobody I know is using it let alone paying.
Curious.

And the highest unemployment rate of any state in the country. @GavinNewsom i’d love to look through the books of California on financial audit, if you’re down! The good AND the bad 😌
$25 minimum wage. Universal access to healthcare. A progressive tax system. The top university system in the country.
Fox News hates California because of our success.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
California's statewide minimum wage is $16.90/hour as of Jan 2026, not $25. Only certain healthcare workers in specific facilities are set to reach $25/hour by July 2026—this is sector-specific, not a general minimum wage. dir.ca.gov/dlse/faq_minim…

Another player joins OG Xbox Live again (Insignia)! We are so happy to have everyone! Stop in and say hi to the community! Make sure you check our events tabs for both XBL and HCH discords!
I am playing Halo 2 online on my original Xbox in 2026 thanks to Insignia! Insignia is a server that has restored the functionality of Xbox Live for the original Xbox.
I was able to do this without "modding" the system, it's free, and easy to set up.

Its so obvious the path this world is going down. So I spent another $10,000
My vision has never been clearer.
Open source AI models are now equally if not more powerful than closed source ones
We will soon all have private personalized super intelligent AI agents running locally on our desks 24/7
The people who don't do this in the future won't have as much economic power
The people who do will have all the economic power in the world
I'm going all in on this vision
My 2nd Mac Studio has arrived.
I have 2 more coming.
I will have 4 Mac studios and a Mac mini running 5 concurrent OpenClaws with 7 different super powerful local models performing tasks 24/7/365 for me
I will interface with them, and they will coordinate with each other. Talking, planning, building all hours of the day. No need for sleeping or eating.
I will build a digital society humanity has never seen before
I will push the limits of what is possible with AI agents and local intelligence.
I will redefine what is possible for one person to achieve in a life time
I will share everything I build and learn with you.
It will be glorious.
If you're reading this, the future is going to be incredible. But the thing is, it will only be incredible if you do something about it. Don't let society control you. Take control yourself. Break free from your shackles.
