OpenGateway update: streaming reliability fix is now deployed. We traced the long-running task stalls through the gateway and shipped a fix focused on streaming stability. The gateway now keeps streaming connections alive properly, uses longer upstream and server idle timeouts, and emits better debug logs for slow or long-running requests. What changed: - Fixed long-running streaming requests stalling through the gateway - Added SSE keepalives so clients do not sit on a silent connection - Increased upstream timeout to support longer generations - Raised Bun/Fly idle handling for long-lived streams - Added detailed stream logs for TTFB, first chunk timing, duration, chunks, bytes, keepalives, cancellations, and upstream failures - Verified locally with OpenClaude on a long-running task - Deployed to Fly and confirmed the live gateway health check is passing Result: OpenClaude and other clients using OpenGateway should now handle long-running streaming tasks much more reliably, with better visibility if an upstream provider slows down or disconnects. 8.6B tokens was already used! powered by @XiaomiMiMo
