💔Heart breaking photos of Sgt. @JakeMorris186 last moments with K-9 Kano, who died in the line of duty earlier this morning. This duo was arguably one of America’s most favorite K-9 / Officer combos. He fought hard till the end. May he rest in peace. EOW: 08-11-22 🐾 💙 🖤 🐾
🐿The question of the day has been pretty consistent…does Slidell have a crazy squirrel problem? Or is this a nation-wide issue that has been brought to light by your Slidell Police Department❓
🚨Kidnapping Suspect IN-CUSTODY🚨 Jimmy Graham, wanted for kidnapping out of Georgia, is in-custody! Thanks to LSP, Homeland Security and STPSO for their assistance this morning.
⚠️Active Manhunt for Suspect Wanted for Kidnapping⚠️ SPD is currently searching for 35-year-old Jimmy Graham, who is wanted out of Georgia for Kidnapping. Graham fled from an SPD officer around 7am, after an attempted traffic stop on the East I-10 Service Road (near Fremaux Ave).

WOW! Slidell resident Latonya Cruz wrote a song about SPD, and it is a classic! We have no words other than amazing! We love the support of our citizens!
@SlidellPD is on the scene of a shooting in the area of Warren St. and Seventh St. The suspect is in custody, and the victim has non-life threatening injuries. Although there is a heavy police presence in the vicinity, the area is safe.

Sgt. Theresa Simon's Last Radio Call...one of the most powerful last tributes for a fallen officer. Gone, but never forgotten.
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Slidell Police Officer Theresa Simon. This afternoon, she passed away while on-duty, presumably from a massive heart attack.

To the DoorDash delivery driver who stole the tip jar from McAlister’s Deli:
You have until tomorrow (Tuesday, March 2) to return it before we show the video to the entire world. Our Facebook Detectives will identify you and rat you out in a heartbeat!
Sincerely,
- Slidell PD
🚨Slidell Police SWAT🚨 is currently working a barricaded suspect in the Bella Sera apartments. All residents are asked to stay inside as the suspect may be armed and dangerous.
