This is how our country works. Things suck, so vote in the other side. Things still suck? Vote for the first side again. Just flip flop for eternity while nothing changes.
New: Low-info voters, who put Trump in the White House, now look even more anti-Trump than high-info voters, and give Dems bigger margins on the generic ballot.
1 out of 3 Trump voters who can't name the party in charge of Congress now back Dems for 2026

Politicians taking bribes isn't shocking. The FBI actually investigating the bribery is. Maybe if there were actual consequences to this shit, people would stop doing it. Instead, it's a do what you feel fest out there.
"Trailer starts now". Why didn't it start when I hit play? Why do I need a trailer for a trailer? Who thought this was a good idea?
Through the internet, people have access to all the knowledge they could ever want. Instead, they just listen to whoever's loudest, without ever thinking for themselves or questioning anything.
Who would have thought the thing that everyone said would happened, happened?
New from @NewYorkFed: Trump's 2025-26 tariffs contributed 2.9 percentage points to US goods price inflation, via higher prices for imports AND domestic goods.
Without the tariffs, "goods prices would have fallen slightly." 😯
Still screwing around with AI's and I have to say, Gemini is the absolute worst. It constantly gets things wrong, provides "answers" that are irrelevant, can't do proper math, and does idiot things like only multiplying seconds when asked to multiply a time of H:M:S.
Actually got excited to see this. Love these games.

I was bored so I spent over 5 hours arguing with Gemini about some math problems. After all that time, it was still wrong. Meanwhile, ChatGPT got it right on the first try. Grok wouldn't read my pdf with all the equations unless I paid for it, so I couldn't test it.
Woman flaunts her boobs in an ad - public outrage.
Woman kills her 3 kids - public support.
We have failed as a society.
The call to slow down AI is probably too little, too late. We're basically in a new cold war, but instead of nukes, it's AI. If we slow things down, that's great, but who's gonna tell that to China?
I've always liked dystopian post-apocalyptic films and assumed if it was gonna happen, it'd be something like Mad Max. Looks like it's gonna be Terminator instead. Humans are so stupid they'd rather destroy all humankind than take some precautions against self-destruction.
Sensationalized news headlines(i.e. clickbait) should be illegal in the same way that false advertising is.
When I was an angsty teen, FF7 was great. After replaying it recently, it's just decent. Meanwhile, FF6 is still an amazing game and I'd rate others above FF7, too. It's crazy to me how FF7 gets all the love when others in the series are just so damned good by comparison.
If the internet has shown us anything, it's that there are way too many idiots and way too many crazy people in the world.
I grew up in a time where misspelling potato made you the laughingstock of the nation. Now I bet half the people in the government would probably misspell potato.
I'm tired of the incompetence, but there aren't any good candidates to vote for to replace these idiots.
Just saw Evil Dead Burn. Decent film, but not much of an Evil Dead film. The deadites just seemed like generic demons rather than the established Evil Dead-style demons. All that talk about needing the dagger to kill them, meanwhile, dude kills one just by bashing in her head.
