It's my birthday today! ✨
I don't have much new art to share as I have been working on Sonic stuff more recently, but if anyone could retweet this to showcase some of my older art thatd be great!
League about me :D
I had a hard time deciding on the good/bad design and good/bad gameplay tbh, I was a little confused exactly what it meant so if im dumb and got it wrong whoops lol
I mainly love adcs tho :3
Wait wtf now it’s all a thread??? Am I delusional what just happened to my Twitter
Okay I am apologizing rn for my weird thread??? Why the fuck did it make separate posts 😭
It was a genuine connected thread I was writing and it posted each reply separately, okay ig I’m gonna delete all of these aw man
Idk I just wish I could apply myself to the things I want to. I wish I didn’t give up on something simply because I know it would be a lot of work to keep going.
And league feels miserable rn and I like the new TFT set (I just wished the bugs didn’t exist)
But I barely want to draw, I just want to play TFT. Even though I WANT to draw and NEED to draw if that makes sense.
I still force myself to draw when I can but it’s such a struggle?
what burnout is? Why do I get burnt out on things I genuinely love doing? Why do I have to jump from hobby to hobby just to feel satisfied?
Like rn I’ve been in my huge TFT phase because valorant I got bored with since I have nobody to play with (my boyfriend obviously hates me)
Even though I LOVE playing piano.
I genuinely LOVE playing league, TFT (another game I quickly improved on) and valorant but putting effort into improving is exhausting for me and not worth it. I LOVE art ofc but I can’t get myself to draw consistently anymore.
Is this just
But then I got bored and stopped playing. Even though I was rapidly improving. I went back to it recently and I can somehow play better than I did before and have more potential to learn further, but I’m not going to play. I know I won’t. Because it’s too much effort to do so.
I started playing piano when I was about 12-13 years old and played for multiple years straight. I was self taught, knew no techniques but was able to play songs consistently and quickly without anybody teaching me. I simply wanted to learn how to play piano so I learned how.
I put my mind to it I could genuinely get to a level of insane professionalism (like ig the splash artists at riot) but I simply don’t put the time and effort in to do it because I get bored and I’m lazy.
Why do I get bored with my favorite hobbies? I also did this with piano.
Them pretty detailed and I originally started from drawing anime characters. I constantly improve my rendering by simply watching videos or studying other artists styles. But I hate the fact that I can’t get myself to study all the time simply because I find it boring. I feel if
but a lot of my techniques and style has been evolving a lot behind the scenes, I believe I made a thread about this some months ago about how quickly my art evolves if I put my mind to it.
I learned how to draw semi-realistic faces within only a couple months, like even painting
entire life, never went to art school, never really learned any techniques from teachers or anything. Anytime I learned something it’s because I went out and sought out to learn it by doing art studies or by simply drawing a lot.
And I am STILL improving. I am not a master artist
I feel as an individual I am extremely capable of improving at anything I do really fast (such as playing video games, drawing or other hobbies) but I unfortunately don’t have the mindset to put myself in a position to improve consistently because I get bored and jump between
for league specifically putting in the effort is simply getting coaching to help me out of that root I’ve been stuck in, also just the last couple years specifically I haven’t been enjoying the game because of the balancing and how riot just isn’t really caring about the player
