A reminder that in Canada the RCMP hid the fact that there was a mass shooter masquerading as a cop and only privately told their loved ones about it while the broader public wasn’t told anything.
I hurt for the parents trying to understand why the sun still rose today without their little one in the world.
Between that and the rising number of deaths of residential children the grief is heavy & fills every space I see. There is no process for grieving tragedies like loosing children, just an acceptance that your heart is missing something forever.
I’m unsure of how to move on from the news of the shooting. I see celebrities back to posting selfie’s & I get so confused. 21 children are dead. It was suggested to me the world is desensitized to this violence but I’m not numb to the senseless killing of children. Im horrified.

When I lost my dad, someone gave me a piece of advice about grieving that I’ve never heard before but I think was the most important tip.
DO NOT go cope with the pain with your favorite media. Find some absolutely garbage content you won’t ever want to touch again.

My little brother suffered from a minute and half long seizure two weeks ago and we don’t know why yet & the best CMH can offer is a neurology consult in SEPTEMBER. Wear your mask & vaxxed or not STAY the fuck home. PLEASE.
