1 yr and 1 day since 2nd craniotomy, 3 yrs 3 months since my 1st. Eye a little sore today and put my back out feeding cat, but perspective is a wonderful thing. Always grateful to NHS /my favourite neuro and maxillofacial surgeons. Started rehab return to work.
Histology results on meltdown Monday. All well with plastic eye socket, hopeful all meningioma bone except teensy bit on skull base has been removed during 2nd craniotomy. Proptosis gone. Grateful for NHS, my two favourite surgeons and the team at @SkullBaseLeeds
Invaluable for training and having a dry run in the lab before actual procedure. Makes complex skullbase approaches easier to figure out in OR. @LTHTNEURO @LeedsHospitals @The_SBNS @e1v1m1
