If you are lucky enough to have a ticket to the Springbok Men vs All Blacks game today, please turn up early to support the Springboks against the Black Ferns! The ceiling on that Boks team is enormous, and helping the nation get behind them will make a difference!

The Real Toxicity Of The Greatest Rivalry Tour. The "Other Side" Of This Tour.
While the majority of true rugby fans across the world are enthralled by the current series in South Africa between the Springboks and the All Blacks as a rugby content creator I have just about reached my limit, and I am going to talk out about it.
As a rugby fan who has supported the game for over fifty five years across the entire world, I created my rugby platform four years ago as a retirement hobby, but also as a way to promote the great game, to hold it accountable, and to share my passion for it.
Despite what all of the online rugby creators do to promote the game with our collective millions upon millions of eyeballs watching our channels, we get ignored by World Rugby, we get abused by rugby fans, and we get our positive attitudes destroyed.
During this ongoing tour to South Africa by the All Blacks I have seen, by the nature of my activities, the toxicity from BOTH sets of fans reach another level.
Over the past fortnight I have spent more time blocking people, deleting abusive comments, despite the channels moderation systems, than I have actually enjoying the rugby games.
OK then you might say " If I don't like it, then don't do it, thats what you get for being in the public domain"
A fellow long standing rugby content creator recently did quit after 5 years of hard work promoting the game.
But I say NO, I wont quit.
Rather than accept it, I want to do something about it. And I know, there are millions of rugby fans who want the same thing as me.
I have loved rugby all of my life. The reality that social media now enables key board warriors the ability to attack and run is a plight on our entire society.
The fact that the average age of a rugby fan today is 36 years old brings with it a degree of ignorance about the games history, its values and in particular its levels of respect between nations.
When I see and read the All Blacks and Springboks coaches being abused for what they say at press conferences, and how they select their team, it makes you wonder where the game is heading.
Referees rarely walk off the field of play without the immediate expectation of backlash. I am not talking about respectable constructive feedback, I am talking about death threats, and abused leveled at their families.
I can't help to think that despite the incredible intense battles that we are seeing on the field of play, how the values of the game are being eroded off the field.
If you are a true passionate rugby fan and have been guilty of over stepping the mark when it comes to the way in which you are sharing your points about something, or maybe not respecting someone else's view in a respectable way, how about thinking for a second before posting your comment, and ask yourself this,
" Is this post or comment going to lift up the game of rugby, is it in the spirit of the games brotherhood, in bringing us together, and not about dividing us. Does your comment respect the games 203 year old values"?
If it doesn't, then don't post it, try again, because rugby, our beautiful sport, deserves better.
Rugby has to be the winner.
The tour continues...
