Natasha Whitehead reflects on the growing recognition of skilled trades as a valuable career path. Trade schools open doors to hands-on opportunities in construction. #WomenInConstruction #TeamDepot

With nearly 400,000 openings in the skilled trades industry, training the next generation of skilled tradespeople is more important than ever. This #BacktoSchool season, we're spotlighting scholarship recipients like Tyler, who are looking to fill those positions. @SkillpointeF

Since our initial commitment to train the next generation of skilled tradespeople, we have introduced 132,000+ and certified 39,000+ participants through our Path to Pro Program. With ~400,000 job openings in the industry currently, we're committed to making a lasting impact.

As part of our mission to diversify the industry, we're granting $200,000 in scholarships to women interested in pursuing a career in the skilled trades. Through this grant to @SkillPointeF, each of the women will receive $4,000 toward the trade school of their choice.

Going #BacktoSchool can happen at any time in your life. For U.S. Army veteran Andre, that time is now. After spending nearly 30 years serving our country, Andre is now part of our Path to Pro scholarship program through @SkillPointeF studying carpentry and building maintenance.

From a young age, Isaiah said he knew what he wanted to do. The 22-year-old is now fulfilling his dream by enrolling in an Electrical Construction and Maintenance program through our Path to Pro scholarship program with @SkillpointeF. #BacktoSchool #Skilledtrades
