I feel like if Oda wanted to go that way he wouldn't have made Teach's quest so sympathetic to the reader Oda used GV to show how this traumatic event shaped BB and to justify his goal to avenge his father/his clan's genocide to the readers We are supposed to root for him (1/2)

#ONEPIECE The only genuinely good counterargument for BB as FV is that Luffy will do what he has consistently been doing since the start of the manga Inheriting wills and accomplishing them So he'll somehow inherit Davy's will and do what Teach wants to do = bring down Imu
