If you missed it earlier, the new Solidarity Across Borders episode is up. It looks at why individual responsibility gets used as a substitute for material analysis. Owen brought some wild stories to break it open.open.spotify.com/episode/743…
Its super gross how so many people lick the boots of the rich and act like they earned it instead of stealing their wealth by under paying workers

The idea that states can be anti-imperialist is one of the most counter-revolutionary ideas ever devised.

States are not their people. They are exploiters, just like corporations or cults. Just as the corporation extracts a profit, the state extracts obedience, marshals the people toward enforcement and brutality against one another. Liberation entails abolition of the state.
Its unreal to me that progressive lenses are so damn expensive and my insurance will only cover less than half of them. How are eyes not considered part of our so-called universal healthcare
A lot of people seem to think that the term working class doesn't apply to disabled people who can't work and I suppose on some level thats true but it doesn't change who our enemies are, namely the ruling class or the capitalist class and the politicians they own
I'm critical of these Saskatchewan separatists not because of some misguided allegiance to the State of Canada but because its led by pathetic loser politicians who just want to give bigger favors to big business or white supremacists and its doomed to fail. Its a terrible idea
I don't know if it was something I've always explicitly believed but over the past few years I've basically come to realize that patriotism and its extreme relative nationalism are both part of the authoritarianism family

No matter what you think of Maduro, it was completely wrong for the US to kidnap him and take over Venezuala. Also, if your opinions of Maduro come from US media then you're almost certainly wrong
When they call people terrorists for opposing genocide it seems like it doesn’t leave anyone with many peaceful options for resistance
Ok, I'm starting to feel the itch to get back at podcasting. I still don't know exactly what I'm going to do with the show but I can tell I definitely want to get back at it before too long
If you think liberals are on the political left, you don't really know what people in the left stand for
People who complain about Regina increasing property taxes while never questioning the cost of policing and constantly whining about the wages of city workers are the absolute worst. Ignorant, selfish, bullshit
I have lots of ideas for videos and podcast episodes but my roadblock always seems to be executing them. I need to learn more about how to research and write a good script and how to edit videos for better flow. I feel like I used to know how to do some of this stuff
If you still haven’t listened, this one holds up. We talk about fascism as a structural force, not a personality issue, and how families build habits of care and awareness that help kids stay steady during an unstable political moment.youtu.be/S9-G4iewekY

Real Anarchism is anti-hierarchy, thus can't involve capitalism. Anarchism is over 100 years old mid-1800s and was always socialist. The term Anarcho capitalism is an abomination developed in the 1950s, though the term "anarcho-capitalism" was coind around 1971.
I'm almost all out of scheduled posts so you probably won't hear from me much until after the new year
Well, listening to Elizabeth May on Bubble Pop essentially confirmed any bad opinions I had about her.
