Pokemon gen 5 didn't get more hate than any other gen did, but I think GF started paying attention to the hate at that point, since it was the time corporate social media usage was expanding at its fastest. BW2 had signs of a reverse course, and gen 6 was probly cut early from it

Nintendo is really proud of all their series. It's so sad seeing that, and then seeing how much Sega isn't. Sega acts like they hate everything they've made. Bit of a double-edged sword. Sega treating Sonic like ass is the reason there are so many Sonic fan projects.

This is what ruins big media companies. They luck out with 1 huge IP, and then ditch everything that doesn't meet the same level of success. The LoL fanbase was never gonna latch unto 2XKO, and the fighting gamebase is just not very big. FFS, not everything has to be Spongebob!
