Yesterday, our students and staff enjoyed a glorious evening at Southsea Tennis Club for this year's Sixth Form Summer Ball. It was lovely to see our Year 12s & 13s back together to celebrate the end of their exams and the start of a lovely long summer. #SJCSixthForm
This week we hosted two meetings as part of the @PortsFest. Aviation Historian Greg Baughen asked how well prepared the RAF was to fight Nazi Germany, and Anthony Tucker-Jones covered the events of D-Day. bit.ly/2WSbSpf #SJCPoliticsSociety
On Tuesday, we welcomed Alix Hickman from the @_UoW to the College. He gave an informative talk to our Year 12 students about apprenticeships, explained the benefits of obtaining a degree whilst working and spoke about the opportunities available. #studentsthrive
Our Year 12 Art students had a great time at the @portsmouthuni Taster Day on Tuesday. They took part in a Photography (Digital & Virtual) Workshop and a Fashion & Textiles (This is ME!) Workshop were they produced some fantastic work! bit.ly/2wRNvNW #studentsthrive
