Best news out of @starwars in the last 5 years!
EXCLUSIVE: The story of #TheAcolyte will not continue, with Lucasfilm opting not to proceed with a second season of the Star Wars offshoot starring Amandla Stenberg, sources tell Deadline deadline.com/2024/08/the-aco…
A fantastic movie with some incredible cameos! Taking a chance and giving so many characters and actors a proper send-off, along with a few of those castings we always wanted to see!
Gambit is a guy Chan was born to play. His story is similar to mine in that he spent a decade trying to put the most comic-accurate version of Gambit on the big screen. Remy LeBeau is grafted to his soul and needs to come out and deal. And Gambit found his author in Chan. He’s one of the coolest, smartest characters in Comics and still largely unexplored. I want more — and from what I saw in theaters, you do too. Having the chance to say goodbye to some of these heroes is as important as having new characters to root for… and rooting for Gambit is easy. Rooting for Chan is even easier. He’s one of the greatest, hardest working, kindest people in this entire industry. I couldn’t be more thrilled to see @channingtatum pull Gambit from the dead and bring him to life at the perfect time and perfect way. #Gambit ♠️ #DeadpoolAndWolverine.
@BattlefieldComm Legitimate question: Why does the Ballistic Shield do anything more than knock people over, and even then only if the user is sprinting? 1-4 slow bumps with a flat surface isn't going to kill ANYONE. We should be able to throw ammo crates and get kills with it.
Unfortunately it's back to job hunting after an amazing 2 years with @nwinteractive.
If anyone hears about a Junior Designer or QA Analyst role across the game industry, please let me know; and if you happen to be in a position to be looking for one or the other we need to talk!
