Meet Faisal Ali Mussalem Al Naami (in black). He’s a social worker for @UNRWA by profession. On October 7, he took a road trip into Beeri with a friend.
I wonder if abduction of Israelis comes in the job description of an @UNRWA social worker?
Damning evidence exposed by the @washingtonpost.
@UNLazzarini and @TomWhiteGaza won’t comment, because it implicates the @UN organization in what appears to be a systematic leadership failure to protect the sanctity of their mandate, and result in subordinating UNRWA to #Hamas’ diabolical forces. They only comment when they have comments for Israel.

Now imagine they had guns and military training, what would they do to the people of NYC?
#Antisemitism is everywhere. @MIT administrarion should be ashamed of themselves
This is the reality that MIT President wants to hide. A letter from Israeli & Jewish MIT students:
To all students at MIT,
Today, Jewish and Israeli MIT students were physically prevented from attending class by a hostile group of pro-Hamas and anti-Israel MIT students that call themselves the CAA.
This is after students from the CAA harassed MIT staff members in their offices for being Jewish and interrupted classes in the past few weeks. All of this has occurred with no clear response from the administration. With each passing day, MIT admin’s silence makes Jewish and Israeli students feel unsafe at MIT.
Many Jewish students fear leaving their dorm rooms and have stated that they feel MIT is not safe for Jews. This message is compounded by the public and private warnings of Hillel and many faculty that Jewish students should not enter MIT’s main lobby today, November 9th, 2023.
Instead of dispersing the mob or de-escalating the situation by rerouting all students from Lobby 7, Jewish students specifically were warned not to enter MIT’s front entrance due to a risk to their physical safety. The onus to protect Jewish students should not be on the students themselves.
MIT administration recently announced guidelines to avoid illegal and unsafe protests on campus. The CAA, which planned the protest, knowingly and proudly violated these requirements, and even invited people from outside of MIT to join them. Their actions inhibit the possibility of safe and peaceful dialogue and endanger Jewish students on campus.
The CAA hosted a blockade that not only disregards MIT guidelines, but also obstructs Jewish students from attending classes.
Some Jewish students who saw the administration’s failure to respond to the targeted harassment of Jews on campus by the CAA came together to support each other and peacefully together stand against this threat to their safety.
Four hours after the blockade started, at 12 pm, the MIT administration passed a letter to all students, threatening their suspension if the crowds did not disperse from Lobby 7. Only the Jewish students left immediately. The CAA protesters did not cooperate. Indeed, the CAA proceeded to invite more students and non-MIT protestors to join them in calling for a violent uprising (“Intifada”) and justifying the terror attacks of Hamas on Israeli civilians.
At 5 pm, all students on campus were warned through MIT’s emergency notification system to “avoid Lobby 7” –– officially recognizing the danger present to students as a result of this violent protest. No Jewish or Israeli students were present at this point.
As of 10:30 tonight MIT has officially decided not to academically suspend CAA students who repeatedly violated the administration's guidelines and threats. They have shown that actions against Jews at MIT do not have consequences. Additionally, in an email to DUSP students, the Department Head indicated that he would protect any DUSP students involved in violating MIT’s rules today by protesting with the CAA. Not only do Jewish students feel unsafe on campus, but now they also feel excluded from and unsafe in DUSP.
Today, on the 9th of November, on the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, which marked the beginning of the Holocaust, Jews at MIT were told to enter campus from back entrances and not to stay in Hillel for fear of their physical safety.
We are seeing history repeating itself and Jews on MIT’s campus are afraid.
Signed,
The MIT Israel Alliance and its supporters
Well written. #NeverAgain
As we have passed the Shloshim period of mourning since the unprovoked #October7massacre in #Israel I am going to slowly return to some commentary on medicine and #IBD. But not without posting my thoughts on the horrible month that has passed. I want to thank the many friends and colleagues who have pro-actively reached out in support and in recognition of the trauma of that terrible day and the subsequent torrent of anti-semitism it has unleashed around the world.
The ruling and governing authority of the people of Gaza launched a methodically well planned pogrom against mostly civilians within the internationally accepted boundaries of the State of Israel. The attackers carried specific instructions to rape, kidnap, torture and desecrate bodies to include Jews, Muslims, foreign workers, infants, children, teenagers women and the elderly resulting in a massive loss of life in 1 day. The atrocities rival the worst pre-meditated evil committed by human beings against other human beings since the #Holocaust. The government of Israel is responding as all governments would to a declaration of war on it's civilian population.
In most nations it would be expected that their fighters, army, police be charged with protecting their civilians. It is abundantly clear that the rulers of Gaza are sacrificing their civilians to protect their leaders and their fighters who are mostly in tunnels underground. They are preventing their general population from evacuating. There is clear documentation and numerous examples of the use of schools, mosques, UN facilities, ambulances and hospitals to provide cover for military equipment and personnel. The loss of life in Gaza is horrible. But it is completely attributable to the decision of their government to declare war on the people of Israel. Civilians are sadly the "collateral damage" in almost every war started by their leaders. Despite the dire situation in Gaza for innocent people, Hamas even through today is perpetuating its war still attacking Israel with hundreds of rockets fired at only civilian areas of Israel. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have been displaced from their homes over the past month and many have to enter bomb shelters on a daily basis.
It is quite sad to me that the many people, including physicians who claim to be concerned for all life, do not DEMAND that Hamas surrender and return all of the hostages and rather place the sole onus on Israel, the victim of an unprovoked attack to implement a ceasefire. There was no ceasefire granted to the Axis powers of Japan and Germany after their pre-meditated attacks in WW2. The Allied nations that were attacked, the UK, USA and Soviet Union, did not supply food, water and medicine to their enemy nations even knowing many if not most of the civilians of those countries were innocent. Those nations eventually surrendered rather than subject more of their population to death and destruction.
If you care about peace and co-existence of Israelis and Palestinians. If you care about the loss of life in Gaza. Demand a Hamas surrender and a return of the hostages. And perhaps once Hamas is gone, a leadership that actually has an interest in negotiating peace between Israelis and Palestinians will rise up and say ENOUGH death. But if your true interest is to see Israel wiped off the map. To eradicate Jewish life from the only land on the planet Jews are indigenous to. You can scream for a ceasefire as long as you want. It's not going to happen. Because this is a war for survival. Jews have been persecuted and evicted from every Arab and Muslim country they have ever lived in - an actual ethnic cleansing. They were massacred systematically throughout Europe for hundreds of years culminating in the Holocaust. And October 7 was a glimpse of what the fate of the Jewish people in Israel would be without an army. And the fate of Jews who live elsewhere - even in Canada, the USA and Europe, would likely not be far behind. Jews have been down this road before only 80 years ago. #NeverAgain
