The difference is initiative. Neither is producing but Darnold, at least, showed late-game urgency and a willingness to push the ball, even if to his detriment. Nix, known for his ability to extend, looks weirdly content eating negative plays or killing them before they develop.

It’s too soon to replace him, but they have to at least bring in someone to compete with him. He has to show he can win the job outright before signing a large extension.

He’s absolutely right. Bo Nix has been far too comfortable ceding negative plays and stalling this offense. He’s playing like someone who doesn’t fear being benched. This is a treacherous win for the @Broncos because it delays an urgent conversation for at least another week.
