A court just struck down background check and registration requirements for silencers, short-barreled rifles & shotguns because Trump and Congressional Republicans slashed proven safeguards. They would rather enrich their gun industry CEO campaign donors than keep Americans safe.

The ruling does not strike down nor otherwise eliminate background checks for NFA items such as suppressors; this has been acknowledged by reps of the Giffords organization themselves in news interviews given since the ruling. Only NFA specific registration forms are impacted.
