ALT December is the time when Simply Counselling usually launch their annual Christmas fundraising raffle. Unfortunately this year, because of covid restrictions and lockdowns, we have experienced a huge loss in the number of clients that we see face-to-face and so we are unable to hold the raffle. This is a challenging festive period for most of us, with restrictions on who we can see and where we can see them. For many of our clients this could well be one of the hardest Christmases yet. We see many adults and children who have experienced trauma, and the effects of this has been exacerbated by the frightening and uncertain year that we have had, along with mounting financial hardship. Your money will go towards providing free sessions for those clients who are unable to afford to pay for counselling at the moment.
We are halfway through this appeal and we have reached our target of £5k!
Thank you to everyone who supported us, donated and shared out cause.
We now have a stretch target of £20k and any further donations will go towards free crisis sessions for anybody affected by COVID-19.

From this Friday we will close our premises in Stoke due to COVID-19. The Office remains open for the time being and our counsellors are counselling remotely by phone or video calling where possible. We will review again after Easter on Tuesday 14th April and update. M-L, CEO.
We just wanted to give a shout out to @DevonProvide providing food for people in crisis in Plymouth. Our Support Worker is working with someone in crisis and telephoned Provide Devon and within 25 minutes we collected 4 bags full of food and sanitary products! Many thanks!
