Taking home gold is Wyatt Carr from ID! "I’m feeling pretty good," said Carr. "To prepare I hadn’t really done a lot of pace work but just being consistent. Yeah it was fun being out with all the older classmen upperclassman so that was a little nerve-racking, but it was fun."

Congratulations to JoJo Jourdan from UT for setting the #1 time in the US and a new meet record with 4:07.73!! In the final stretch, Jourdon encouraged the crowd to get behind him. "Sometimes a mile is boring," said Jourdon. "I wanted to make it more entertaining for the crowd."
