Trading's strange because there's almost nothing else in life where you can do less and get more reward.
Going to the gym for example takes discipline and consistency, turning up every day and putting in the work. The more you do, the more you get back.
With trading, you're forced at times to do nothing day after day, which is the complete opposite of what we were taught growing up.
And the worst part is it doesn't sell very well for a trading course.
The biggest tell for me to sit on my hands is the simple fact that there are NO LEADERS. Not only that but there are no setups. Yes I could grind each session for penny’s but you have to ask yourself if it’s worth your mental capital.
We all learn the hard way.
“surely it can’t keep going lower” is a personal favourite I used to tell myself.
Moral of the story, survive for another day.

I had to get caught once to make sure I never get caught again! Have a good weekend brother
No need to be a hero here. Tried some stuff for a bounce yesterday, but you’d be foolish to still be long going into the weekend.
$SPCX - All out on this made a rough 4-5% gain with yesterdays trims. Holding up decent to be fair but overall market looks like it really wants to puke today.
Caught $SPCX on today’s dump. This would’ve been the 8th red candle had it closed down for the day, so I liked my chances, and I was very bearish going into today.
I’ve wanted to sell all day but kept away from the screens after trimming and raising my stop, which is all you can do when trying to keep expectations low.
That being said some of the biggest, most vicious rallies can stem from downtrends as shorts get comfortable so I’m just going to take it day by day, focusing on price.
Must admit the engagement today sure does feel like a ghost town, but ready to change my opinion on a dime.
$PLTR: Retested previous resistance which acted as a support along with the 20EMA earlier. Really good look in this leader but just have to take it day but day in this market and keep opinions loosely held.
Impressive reversals yesterday, but I want to see some strong follow-through candles before holding over the weekend.
Would I be buying here? Certainly not.
We may roll over or enter chop again soon but if you did get in, as long as you have cushion, just focus on price and ignore the noise.

Read the replies to this tweet, lots of people talking about "we might gap up +10%" which was the writing on the wall for me. I imagine those who sold the opening lows and now want to chase higher.
This is the kinda selling that you think can’t go much lower and the market opens the following day -6%
You never know someone’s personality, risk tolerance, strategy, position sizing or timeframe. So don’t blindly follow them on a trade especially in this environment.
Time to book a holiday.. or as you guys say vacation🌴
Time for me to be VERY selective until things change. I was a little arrogant towards the terrible price action as I was mainly long cyber which did great, but I've fully scaled out now.
This is usually where I and many others fall into overtrading, so I'm going to limit screen time. It doesn't have to be a negative though. Embrace the time off while we wait for the environments that really move the needle.
