Yesterday's stats via @SimpleAnalytic 🤯 If you post on @BuiltVibing (which is free), you can catch some of these eyeballs. Traffic comes from a mix of organic posts and paid social ads (targeted different communities). Let's see what today brings.

We doubled our Elasticsearch cluster, so it can take much more traffic than we have today. Searches open faster, pages load quicker, and the system can process 10 000 pageviews per second with ease.

Backups finish sooner, monitoring is sharper, and retry steps work better. We added stronger VPN security and a new logging system too. All data still stays on European-owned and European-based hosting. We are ready for the future.

Setting up GA4 for blog. UX is so bad. Also to be GDPR-compliant I need to configure so many settings before I can get started. When I get some revenue I'll immediatly switch to @SimpleAnalytic #buildinginpublic

🚢 We updated your website overview, and it includes now both pageviews and visitors in one chart. 👶 Years ago we didn't track visitors, we now offer real-time insights. 👭 Today is marked with familiar dashed lines, consistent with the dashboard. simpleanalytics.com

I made a mistake in the data of our customers. For some customers, our script would report a portion of page views as visitors. That was a very stressful find. Luckily, we could fix the data last weekend. We informed our users and these are some replies. Love our customers!

With Simple Analytics, you can set up a proxy, so no visitors' IP address can reach our servers. Thanks to @captcha_eu our docs now include both the NGINX and Caddy configuration. Should take a few minutes to set up. docs.simpleanalytics.com/pro…
