HE SHOT HIS NEIGHBORS' 11 YEAR OLD LAB AND DUMPED HIS BODY 150 MILES AWAY. A JURY JUST CONVICTED HIM.
Hemi was a yellow Lab. In December 2024, Robert Wallish shot him at his hunting cabin in Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
Then he hauled Hemi's body about 150 miles away and dumped it. Hemi was identified by his microchip and DNA.
His first trial ended in a mistrial in March because the courthouse dog wandered into the jury room.
Last Friday, at the retrial, a jury convicted Wallish, 55, of Hummelstown, of felony aggravated animal cruelty and tampering with evidence.
He faces up to 9 years. His sentencing date hasn't been set yet.
Hemi's family waited almost two years for this. What should he get?

🚨SPRING IS DECLINING RAPIDLY & URGENTLY NEEDS RESCUE🚨.
📍BALCH SPRINGS, TX
💔SPRING HAS A REALLY SAD STORY AND SHE NEEDS OUR HELP🙏😪
PLEASE READ ABOUT POOR SPRING👇
💔 Spring has only been here for 6 days & she is already struggling so badly that she desperately needs out. This gorgeous Australian Shepherd girl is terrified, overwhelmed, & spinning in circles nonstop. She has severe kennel stress. This environment is clearly taking a toll on her.
Spring came in with Oakley, an injured Pittie who was scheduled for euthanasia & is still in need. When staff carried Oakley to the vehicle, Spring refused to leave his side & followed them all the way there. She was so loyal to her friend, & now they’re separated in different kennels while Oakley deals with his injury.
I can’t imagine how frightening this must be for her. She’s already scared of people & everything happening around her, & now the dog she was clinging to for comfort is gone from her side. She seems completely overwhelmed by the noise, confinement, & stress of the shelter.
Spring is extremely skittish & fearful, but she has NOT shown aggression. She’s simply terrified. Unfortunately, her fear is making it difficult for staff to handle her, & she hasn’t even been able to receive her initial shots or routine medical yet.
She needs an experienced rescue & a committed local foster who can give her a quiet, secure environment where she can decompress. She will need patience, gentle handling, & time to learn that she is safe. Based on her bond with Oakley, she will likely do well with other dogs, but she will need careful intros.
‼️Spring shouldn’t be deteriorating mentally in a kennel after less than a week. She needs help NOW before she loses her life due to lack of quality.
PLEASE SHARE SPRING EVERYWHERE!🙏🙏🙏

🙏 PLEASE HELP SAVE THIS ENTIRE FAMILY!
These eight babies were just born on 10/2. They don’t even have names yet, and already Mama and every one of her newborn puppies are on the euthanasia list for 10/3.
Mama did everything she could—she carried them, gave birth to them in the shelter, and is caring for them now. They need a rescue to step forward immediately and give this mother a safe place to raise her babies.
Please rescue, foster through a rescue, pledge or share this family before it is too late.

🚨PLEASE SHARE CUSTARD &
HER 7 NEWBORN BABIES! 🚨 #A615084
The day before Custard gave birth she was trembling, absolutely terrified and the heartbreak in her eyes say everything🥺💔
💔But despite her fear, she allowed gentle pets and soft love❤️🩹
yesterday, she was still terrified, just showing it differently. And now she has 7 newborn puppies depending on her. 🥺
A frightened new mama and 1-day-old babies do NOT belong in a stressful shelter kennel. They need a quiet, safe place💔

🚨 SIX DOGS AND THREE RABBITS LEFT TO DIE IN FILTH - OWNERS SMILED AND LAUGHED
Six dogs and three rabbits died agonising deaths from starvation and dehydration inside a filthy County Durham home, where an RSPCA inspector was met with a “strong smell of death” — and occupants who appeared to find the situation funny.
Nathan Race, 38, and Jade Race, 36, also known as Boyd, left the animals without food or water for at least three days.
Dead dogs lay decomposing or mummified inside filthy crates. Three rabbits were found in plastic hutches buried beneath thick layers of mouldy waste. Empty bowls, overflowing faeces, rubbish and thousands of flies painted a horrifying picture of neglect.
One dog, Mila, had chewed her way out of her cage before dying in the living room. Investigators believed a toilet containing a small amount of dirty water was the only water source she could reach.
The cruelty extended to another property in West Cornforth, where nine ferrets were kept in dirty, barren cages without water or enrichment. Birds had filthy drinking water and damaged feathers, while reptiles lacked lighting.
A young rabbit, Midnight, was so emaciated that her bones felt sharp beneath her skin. Two young dogs, Nova and Oreo, were also underweight and neglected.
When asked what animals needed from their owners, Nathan and Jade answered: “Attention, food, water, love.”
Yet nine animals were dead, and others had been left suffering.
At Durham Crown Court on 31 July, Nathan was handed a 20-month suspended prison sentence, 180 hours of unpaid work and 30 rehabilitation activity days.
Jade received a 12-month suspended prison sentence and 40 rehabilitation activity days.
Both were banned from keeping animals for life.
Neither went straight to prison.
Thankfully, surviving dogs Nova and Oreo and rabbit Midnight recovered and found new homes. The birds were transferred to wildlife facilities, while exotic animals were placed in specialist care.
Nine animals paid with their lives. Their owners received suspended sentences.

A poucos dias da eleição, o Lula tenta usar a Caixa pra salvar o Corinthians, o time do coração dele.

A one year old dog was left tied to a cemetery gate with a gash in his neck nearly 9 inches long. Infected. Down to the tissue.
His name is Frankie.
Yonkers, New York. November 21. Frankie sat tied to the gate at Saint John's Cemetery with no food or water for more than three hours before a good Samaritan found him. He needed two hours of surgery. His ribs were showing.
Anita Martin just pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and abandonment. Her expected sentence in January: three years probation, 20 hours of community service, $1,618.50 restitution and the animal abuse registry.
No jail.
The vet called Frankie "remarkably sweet and loving." After all that.
Three years probation for this. Is that justice?
