Service 70/70A is operating to a normal timetable from today onwards, following the completion of the A143 emergency road closure.

Due to a road collapse on the A143 at Stanton, services 70/70A are currently severely disrupted. All journeys are currently on diversion via Thetford while we try to come up with a better plan.

Major disruptions will still be communicated through X for the time being to enhance their audience as much as possible, but for updates live from the depot (rather than through me!) - our new website (launching 30th June) will be the best source of information!

Disruption alerts will be changing soon! From the 30th June, Simonds Local Bus Services will be online on our relaunched central-connect.co.uk site. From this date, the most up to date service alerts will be available through that website or the Central Connect mobile app.

Due to an emergency road closure in Long Stratton, service 1 will be delayed for the rest of the day. We will ensure that service 1A which serves Long Stratton high school will run on time.

The broken down vehicle has now been moved, and normal operations will now resume at Norwich Bus Station.

Due to a broken down vehicle in Norwich Bus Station, stands will be re-allocated for at least the morning of Mon 22nd June. Stand F - 82/PR2 towards Prince of Wales Stand K - 82/PR2 towards Harford & Diss Stand P - 1/1A & PR3 We will update once clear!

16:10 82 will be cancelled as a result of this.

Due to vehicle breakdown the PR2 1540 from Norwich and 1555 from Harford are cancelled. 16:10 82 from Norwich may also be cancelled depending on the severity of the issue

The 16:20 & 17:00 PR3s from Postwick are currently running 20 minutes late. As a result, these journeys will operate direct from Postwick to Bus Station to try and separate it from the 16:40 & 17:20 departures. Normal route from Bus Station back to Postwick.

Apologies, due to an emergency road closure on the B1077 Shelfhanger Road, services are on diversion. 82s are unable to serve Louie’s Lane & Factory Lane & Shelfhanger Road 1s are unable to serve Shelfhanger Road & Sunnyside

Diss Road in Burston will be closed on Tuesday 16th June between 09:30 & 15:00. Our service 1 has been granted access through the closure, which we are grateful to both NCC & Openreach for arranging. There may be a slight delay to affected journeys as the road is cleared.

Due to Anglian Water works, Frenze Road in Diss will be shut from Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th June, affecting service 84. The 07:35 from Long Stratton & 15:20 from Diss will NOT serve Hawk Crescent. All other journeys will serve all stops, but with delay as they divert.

To prevent delays to our services due to an abnormal load escort on Sunday 14th June, the following PR2 journeys will not serve Ipswich Road Tesco or City College: 14:45 from Norwich 15:00 from Harford 15:15 from Norwich They will operate via the A47 & Bracondale.

Due to a partial closure of Norwich Bus Station on Sunday 14th, Sunday 21st & Sunday 28th June - stands A to M will be closed. All buses will leave from the YMCA side, with our services on STAND N. Staff will be on site to assist with customer queries.

Due to the Harleston Food Festival on Saturday 13th June, service 81 will not serve Broad Street after 15:00. Please wait for your bus on Redenhall Road, opposite the Station Road bus stop.

Due to an emergency road closure, service 14 will be unable to serve the following stops on Friday 12th June: - Sheldrake Drive - Heron Road - Tern Road Please board at Gannet Road or Chantry Academy tomorrow if you are affected.
