This picture says a lot about Catholicism and Protestantism. Catholic priest: a servant and spiritual father, not looking for a fight, humble enough to admit he needs to study a difficult passage, completely at peace. Protestant: restlessly looking for confrontation, convinced he already knows everything, and mistakes another man’s humility for his own victory. One man belongs to a faith bigger than himself; the other has made himself the measure of the faith, and needs everyone else to know it.

This stellar performance bears testimony to my insistence that Governor Peter Obi, the good man I succeeded, gave our state his all.

… @CCSoludo Prof, your obsession with @PeterObi has become pathological. The scurrilous attacks! The exhausting redundancy! The banality! The pettiness! Give the hubris a rest, and redirect the energy to transforming Anambra.

Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false. We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified. The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project. The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion. It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind. If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

I have a very good news for Nigeria. This boy Agbo Adoga from Graceland International School, Port-Harcourt just scored a perfect SAT score of 1600. He is the first ever in Nigeria to achieve this. His school uses educare and educare exams prep platform (exams.educare.school) helped a lot.

Friends, though the book of Jonah is only a few pages long, there is something inexhaustible about it. It’s a biblical commonplace that God speaks to certain people and gives them missions, as he does with Jonah in our first reading. But God also speaks to us all the time, precisely in the voice of our conscience. Do you listen to the voice of God or not? Do you listen to what your conscience is telling you or not? If you do, you become a vehicle of grace for yourself and for all those around you. If you don’t, chaos ensues.

The final conquest of the Igbo ethnic nationality of Nigeria. A self annihilation of a people. The ultimate supremacy of ignorance, incompetence and foolery. Mass hypnosis induced by failed leadership. A shameful social implosion. So called leaders became mute while the people wept. Maybe the popular Gburus should affirm. Are we still in God's hands? Or are the gods to blame? As mama says, " this too shall pass" #Chimaroke

After receiving N16 billion to complete water projects & prevent cholera outbreak, Cross River State under @ben_ayade abandoned the projects in a corruption-smelling style. In 2022, 51 people died from cholera in a village the project was meant to cover. primeprogressng.com/posts/in…

I’m a big baseball fan. I’ve even thrown out the first pitch at a Dodgers game. But I’d encourage my friends in LA to boycott the Dodgers. Let’s not just pray, but make our voices heard in defense of our Catholic faith.

Maundy Thursday Today, the Catholic Church around the world, with the exception of certain dioceses that have already held their own celebrations due to necessity, celebrates a double feast which includes the renewal of ministerial priestly promises, the blessing of the three essential oils of the Church, and the institution of the Holy Eucharist (the Lord’s supper).

@inecnigeria I am struggling to understand the server error complaints with the BVAS system .. Perhaps, it's likely not the machine itself that's failing .. Shouldn't it be pretty easy to scale your instances or infra in minutes?

2/ @inecnigeria How were these things even designed? It's not like these are unexpected loads on the server, you deterministically knew how many machines there were across board, perhaps estimating traffic & max capacity beforehand .. so it's not like some unexpected spikes

3/ assuming of course, that you're not by any chance running the BVAS server on the same network/infra. as your results portal .. because it'd have made more sense that your portal is overwhelmed than d BVAS server (which is expectedly closed to d public)
