Humbly helping out others who are less fortunate... "Grocery DELIVERIES" from Food For Free. 1500 families get healthy groceries weekly in Cambridge. I am grateful for everything I have. signupgenius.com/go/20f0949a… via @signupgenius
Just finished our first online version of the parent @TheComfAbility workshop! So glad to be able to support parents of teens with #ChronicPain, especially during these difficult Covid times. Thank you amazing @TheComfAbility team!
Another fun online chat tonight from @TheComfAbility for teens with #ChronicPain . I am always moved by how much #resilience teens can show in the face of adversity!
Here’s another living by what I’m preaching about #selfcare: Soaking the sun together with my cat, both tucked in a nook in my front doorway
I love supporting parents when life pulls the rug from under their feet. The best reaction to the @TheComfAbility webinar yesterday from a parent was “thank you for this hour of self-care”

Thank you @SimonaBuj for leading this fantastic webinar! Finding balance now is tough - I know your words of support and concrete ideas were a beacon of hope. Was great to join forces on this!!!

Living by what I am preaching: keeping up with routines. Dressing up, coordinating colors, wearing jewelry, and putting makeup for work every day, even though I only walk two rooms down to the living room...
Quick access to great on-line resources and apps for all kinds of needs, Including how to manage #chronicpain. Thank you SKIP!
As everyone is practicing #SocialDistancing we know your routines and wellness practices are being disrupted.

Such meaningful research! We know already that transgender and LGBTQ kids are more vulnerable to emotional struggles. Very important to understand how to best support them!
Excited to share my poster on transgender youth with chronic pain!
Our findings are consistent with a minority stress framework and highlight the need for validated measures in both research and clinical settings, including #inclusive intake forms.

Who is ready for tomorrow? Retweet if you plan to participate in any way in #SPPAC2020 virtual conference!
If you’re not registered for the content, you can still catch poster sessions both Thursday and Friday and hear others “talk about” what they learned!
If we all feel discombobulated about the changes required in these times (working from home, keeping kids busy and focused on school work, wondering if the ones we love will be ok), imagine how much harder it can be if your child has chronic pain... Join the chats for support!
While we are moving our work to a virtual setting for the time-being, there is one program that does not require modification--our online health chats!
Our #onlinechat for parents of teens with #chronicpain is Wednesday night! Sign up here: thecomfortability.com/pages/…
