Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 has raised 151.5 billion CFA francs ($252 million) from its citizens and diaspora in the first phase of its Patriotic Loan, exceeding the 125 billion CFA target by more than 21%.
The proceeds will fund key sectors including infrastructure, energy, housing, agriculture, and industrial zones.
A second phase is already planned within a broader 240 billion CFA program.
Thank you and congratulations @vista_bank

@AlikoDangote happy birthday big bro! May God continues to bless you!

Well done @SammyGyamfi_
Seriously, this young chap must be honoured.
Npp begged for 3 Billion USD at IMF, but today, NDC through @GhanaGOLDBOD led by Hon. Sammy Gyamfi Esq @SammyGyamfi_ generated 10 Billion USD without the IMF.
The reason for their hatred for the young Lawyer @SammyGyamfi_ even their economic wizkid couldn't do this in 8 yrs.

Congrats @TomBrady !

Today at the African Blue Economy Summit in Lagos, I shared my belief that our waterways hold the key to the city’s future. The ocean is not just our heritage, it is our opportunity for jobs, innovation, transport, and resilience against climate change.
Hosting the E1 Lagos GP championship this week has shown how water can inspire not only sport and entertainment, but also big ideas in technology and sustainability.
Lagos is ready to lead Africa in building a blue economy that works for people today and protects the planet for tomorrow. Our investments in water transport, maritime infrastructure, and climate adaptation are only the beginning.
It was inspiring to hear voices from across Africa and beyond acknowledge Lagos as a hub for innovation and sustainability. Together, we can make our continent’s natural capital a source of growth, pride, and shared prosperity.
