We'll be doing Performance of the Weekend on tonight's #totalsport. And something will be hoyed in the river. I'm anticpating more nominations for the latter than the former.
Our journalist guest tonight, @MarkCarruthers_ , is coming in on his wedding anniversay. That's commitment (though I'm not sure if his other half knows yet). Any examples of important occasions missed for the sake of sport?! I was at the World Cup for my first wedding anniversary!
We'll have everyone's favourite North East Aussie legend @cambo_19 on tonight's show after 7. He'll be talking about his new Director of Cricket role, and reviewing a successful season for @DurhamCricket - let me know if there's anything you want to ak him!

Thoroughly enjoyed talking to @SimonPryde on @bbcnewcastle about my book MILES AWAY and life as a fan following #nufc as an exile.
There are always more of us on the outside than the fortunate 55,000 ticket holders, but it does not take away the passion of our support.
"Just put it in the net!". I love the shot at the end of the woman and her little girl behind Murphy looking as anguished as Ando sounds. Anyone know who they are?

Would YOU like to see drinking alcohol at your seat legalised at football grounds? #nufc #safc bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c933…
Chris will be marked out of 10 by Ando & @marco_ten for his performance!!
bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/art… Following on from last night's Total Sport discussion about this story - what other ideas do you have to make Olympic sports more interesting? Special Brew instead of water in the swimming pool? Boxing on a trampoline?

I've been sent this by Jon, who suggests managing Manchester City is NOT impossible. In fact, compared to some jobs, it's probably quite easy. Question: WHAT IS THE EASIEST JOB IN SPORT? #totalsport. (Not sure if my job counts.....)
Are you running the Great North Run? Do you know someone who's running? We'll do some shout outs tonight on #totalsport. #gnr
If you had to clone ONE player ten times, then field a team consisting entirely of that player, who would it be? Luke O'Nien maybe, #safc fans? Ando will go for Fabian Schar. #nufc. #totalsport
TWO live matches on BBC Radio Newcastle tonight. From 6 I'll be building up to #safc v Hull City and Millwall v #nufc with @NickBarnes63, @raisbeck10, @marco_ten & that Ando bloke. Get in touch! We'll be on until 10.30.
My first Monday night #totalsport of the new season. I'll need your Performance of the Weekend nominations, and something to Hoy in the River, please. #nufc #safc.
