Amazing how the Hamas media office was able to assess the number of flooded tents and the financial damage within hours of and during a rainstorm.
Almost as if they had a press release ready to go as soon as they saw the weather forecast. š¤

Reporters Without Borders has reached a new low.
After quietly removing terrorists from its own list of slain journalists, RSF has the audacity to blacklist HonestReporting alongside some of the world's worst dictators.
Our crime? Exposing the very claims @RSF_inter would rather nobody scrutinized.
This isn't defending press freedom. It's a disgraceful attempt to smear and intimidate a watchdog that dares to hold RSF accountable.
RSF should be ashamed.

Genocide is no laughing matter. Good thing there's no genocide in Gaza or SNL's ājoke" would fall even flatter than it already has.
Israelās Terem emergency clinic network is staffed by both Jewish and Arab medical professionals and treats everyone regardless of ethnicity or background.
Its founder was murdered in a Palestinian suicide bombing in Jerusalem in 2003 along with his daughter on the night before her wedding.
Now @SkyNews thinks it has an exclusive that Israelis should be denied medical care by virtue of their place of residence.
Maybe Sky should focus on the real story here: why do Jewish medical professionals feel like they have to leave the UK for Israel?

Whatās worse?
1. Incompetent Irish media misquoted @BarackObama.
Or:
2. What Obama actually said: that Jews āunderstandably sought a refuge in a place where they had historic ties,ā but they āexpelledā the people āthey took the land offā rather than being āexcessive.ā
That still reduces Israelās founding to a simplistic story of foreign Jews taking somebody elseās land.
One acknowledgment of Jewish history does not make the subsequent distortion any less serious.
We have no problem correcting a misquote. But that doesn't change the bottom line: President Obama deserves the criticism that he's received.

According to @BarackObama, Jews fled Europe, arrived in someone elseās land and became āexcessive.ā
Conveniently missing: The Jewish peopleās millennia-old connection to the Land of Israel and centuries of continuous Jewish presence there.
Israelās legitimacy did not begin with European persecution.
Neither did Jewish history.

Forget yellow lines.
When it comes to sourcing, @CNN apparently has no red lines.
Its latest Gaza piece repeatedly cites Hamas-run institutions, Hamas-linked figures and deeply compromised advocacy groups without giving readers the context needed to judge their credibility.
Letās follow the source trail. š§µ

For those fighting Israelās media battles, October 7 was never just another story. The headlines, accusations and online abuse collided with a reality of sirens, funerals, friends called to reserve duty and loved ones lost.
@SimonPlosker reflected a year after October 7 on what it means to defend Israel in the media while living through the same war at home.
As we commemorate the third anniversary, what he wrote then still rings true.

More than 4,000 words on Israeli checkpoints.
Hundreds of movement restrictions mapped.
Countless paragraphs on their impact.
And virtually nothing explaining why many of these security measures exist in the first place.
Palestinian terrorism barely enters the story.
The human cost deserves scrutiny.
So does the context @WIRED left out. š§µ

@nytimes caught lifting propaganda straight from Gazaās Hamas-run apparatus.
On Tuesday, in the NYT, Sharif Labad became a human-interest story: a ācivil defense workerā who rushed to help after a strike, complete with wedding plans and a funeral prayer.
Today, the IDF identified him as a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who invaded Israel on Oct. 7.

Two British Jews are murdered in an antisemitic terror attack.
And @guardianās former senior journalist Michael White is āstartledā that the BBC memorial focuses on antisemitism rather than Gaza.
Apparently, even murdered British Jews must share their memorial with a political justification for why someone wanted them dead.
Shameful.

I watched the BBC1 TV news at Six and was startled to watch coverage of this memorial. It far exceeded the news value of the occasion in length and content. As usual alarm about levels of ugly anti semitism lacked any proper context: the slaughter in Gaza bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2zā¦

The Palestinian child at 1:49 specifically refers to Yahud - Jews. Not Israelis. If you are going to promote Palestinian propaganda, at least translate it correctly, @SkyNews.
And, @AdamParsons, communities inside Israel are not "settlements" as you say at 2:30. Do you have the same problem with Jews living in their own state as the Palestinian child you interviewed?

Thank you, @Telegraph, for covering @GaryLinekerās latest social media outrage.
But letās be clear about two things:
1. Lineker went far beyond ācriticism of Israel.ā He left the BBC after sharing a pro-Palestinian video featuring a rat emoji, an antisemitic trope. Calling that merely ācriticism of Israelā sanitizes what happened.
2. Tony Greenstein isnāt simply an āanti-Zionist.ā He has a documented history of antisemitism, was expelled from the Labour Party, and sued a Jewish organization after it described him as an antisemite.
He lost. Because he's an antisemite.
Let's not mince words. Lineker doesn't share content from people like Greenstein because he's merely "anti-Zionist."
Simon Plosker retweeted
Seriously, @nytimes?!!
"Disrupting worship" is when someone talks incessantly during prayers.
Invading a synagogue and attacking worshipers is on an entirely different level.
Antisemitism is dangerous and potentially fatal. But The New York Times only sees it as a minor inconvenience.
