So have I got this right? Travelling 100’s of miles to support the team away from home is not worthy, but buying a sausage roll and a pint of crap beer in the concourse grants you a greater status? How does that even begin to make sense? #Rovers

When you adhere to the rules you can celebrate your success. When you cheat you can’t. Off you fuck.
The irony of these comments, coming from a man who's *ONLY* silverware came directly from an owner who flooded the club with personal wealth into order to compete. The lack of self awareness is astounding 😂

As the saying goes….sometimes it is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are an idiot than to open it and remove all doubt.
Jack got us relegated with one of the richest sides in hisotry, he failed. the biggest money lost via a player was not Venkys,. it was your hero.

The (lovelier) images which have shaped my work every year since 1989, are being put into my own Fame of Hall. Stories will abound. "THE BLACKBURN END AT £4.50" Blackburn Rovers year 1990 @Rovers Photo©stuartroyclarke/homesoffootball

First day of the first test between South Africa and Australia in Durban is being played in front of a very sparse crowd. It should be a fabulous series. Why the lack of interest?

There is a village somewhere missing an idiot.
Is someone going to strip Blackburn Rovers of their Premier League title? “Oh, I forgot” people only started to care about spending when the owners doing it weren’t English or American.

Kevin Sinfield has just watched his son Jack reach the Grand Final with Wakefield. Tomorrow Sinfield snr sets off on his 'Grand Finale' of seven ultra-marathons, finishing at Old Trafford, where he'll carry the trophy in for a game his son will be part of.

One of the major criticisms is a lack of interest from the owners. If, big if, this is true then it’s a start. Albeit a cautious one. He will quite rightly find an unforgiving fanbase. But having greater involvement is good. How he acts and how it’s funded is obviously crucial.
🚨 Balaji Rao is reportedly ready to take a more hands-on role at #Rovers following his recent visit to Ewood Park. Rao is said to want greater involvement, with one possibility being him taking over from Venky’s and funding the club himself or alongside others. January is expected to be the first major test of the level of backing available. As per @reluctantnicko. #Rovers
