It's quite rare for a museum to incorporate historical testimony questioning the morality of its own exhibition. The Tiger Tank exhibit @TankMuseum includes video interviews with German & British tank crew. 1/10

I've tried my 1918 Geophones with replacement tubes & the amplification is truly remarkable. I'm hoping to bring them to my Underground Warfare 1914-18 talk at Great War Huts on 26 June so people can have a go. It's at Brook Farm Camp, nr Bury St Edmunds. greatwarhuts.org/event-detai…

Thanks to @SimonJHistorian for this wonderful book, signed as well 👍 It arrived on the anniversary of the Battle of Messines which started #OTD with the detonation of 19 enormous mines beneath the German lines at Messines #Ypres #WW1 #History #OnThisDay
Thank you Phil! This was one of the many of Adam's plates I really like. He told me how much he enjoyed learning about the subject. @OspreyBooks – at Windsor, South East
I hope you enjoy it Phil! Let me know what you think of the mine rescue artwork. Adam Hook did a great job in depicting the various breathing apparatus.
Nepotism alert! My nephew has an excellent new politics blog: henryjones1.substack.com/p/u…
Thank you for your invaluable help with the Italian front section Tom! Although I accept sole responsibility for the accuracy of the depiction of the Alpini miners digging the Castelletto tunnels! It is the excellent work of artist Adam Hook. simonjoneshistorian.com/2024…
