I’ve learnt my lesson @Starbucks, I get asked my name, I reply and my coffee arrives for ‘Salmon’.
I’m now resorted to saying Simón and going full on Spanish, even outside of Spain.
Over the last six years, Spain has been far more than a place I've lived, it has been my classroom.
When I first arrived, I wanted to become a better coach. What I didn't realise was how much my perspective on football, player development and learning itself would change.
These six years have challenged my assumptions, expanded my knowledge and strengthened my belief that great coaching is less about having all the answers and more about designing the right learning experiences.
