If washing were that easy, let them also wash! 🤣 Also, these accusations are oxymorons; how do we keep inviting people to visit Rwanda when we have things to hide? Wouldn't that be giving them access to all our "dirty linen"? Must be tiring to find fault where there is none! Anyhow, people should just #VisitRwanda and leave the noise makers.

President #Kagame’s leadership is defined by a simple principle: a vision must be translated into action, and commitments must deliver results. His leadership demonstrates that development requires more than inspiring speeches. It requires institutions that plan, coordinate, implement, and deliver. Rwanda’s progress in infrastructure, tourism, investment, and international event hosting illustrates the importance of translating national ambition into practical outcomes that create opportunities for citizens. #F1 @SamuelBaker_B @Sentletse

Unity, reconciliation, & peace aren't one-time achievements; they're values we must nurture & pass on to future generations. Through continuous dialogue & shared responsibility, we can safeguard Rwanda’s hard-earned progress & build future rooted in hope, dignity, & lasting peace
Whenever leaders share through @UnityClubRw and MINUBUMWE, the discussions are a powerful reminder that #Rwanda’s future depends on #unity, reconciliation, and a shared commitment to #Peace. The magic is in not tiring of reminding, especially the young generation, why we have to protect what we have earned. The alternative is devastating.

Tribalism deeply damaged Rwanda’s unity and social cohesion, leading to persecution, torture, exile, and ultimately the Genocide against the Tutsi. As Rwandans, we must never allow divisive ideologies to take root in our society again. Not today, not tomorrow, never again. Our unity is our strength. “𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞.”
"We must always remember the painful history from which Rwanda emerged and how the RPF transformed it into a Rwanda for all Rwandans, rather than being a Rwanda for the Hutu majority, as was promoted by PARMEHUTU, APROSOMA, MRND, CDR, and the Hutu Power movement. We must understand what destroyed Rwanda and always remain vigilant to prevent anyone from ever daring to dream of destroying it again, while there are people watching and others standing by to protect it. We must continue to cherish and nurture our country. Long live Rwanda!" “𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞.” @DrDamascene

The central lesson is that development requires more than ambitious speeches or policy declarations. It requires institutions capable of translating commitments into programs, mobilizing resources, implementing policies, measuring performance, and delivering services that improve people’s lives.
President Kagame is a visionary leader who has always encouraged Rwandans to rise above the past, aspire to greater things, and conquer the future. Today, that vision is materializing. His leadership has translated ambition into concrete action. The confidence the world places in President Kagame, reflected in opportunities such as hosting Formula 1, is a tangible testament to his visionary leadership.

Rwanda’s strength lies in unity, resilience, and a shared vision for a brighter future. By rejecting division and embracing shared responsibility, Rwandans continue to build a nation grounded in dignity, peace, and sustainable progress.
Rwandans remain resolute in safeguarding their unity and advancing national transformation, while rejecting attempts by anti-Rwanda actors and groups to sow division and revive ethnic-based hatred. Gone are the days when ethnicity and regionalism dictated #Rwanda’s leadership. Today, Rwanda’s future is built on unity, shared responsibility, and a common commitment to national progress. @UnityClubRw @Imbuto @FirstLadyRwanda @DrDamascene

BBC: How do you respond to that charge that this is sports washing, that Rwanda has a very, very poor human rights record, but you're trying to show another side to the country through sports? Minister: I think such kind of thinking & questioning is really old, old & outdated.

It also says a lot about how far humanity has fallen. #Rwanda fairly wins the bid to host something as great as this, yet some people are so bothered by it, you’d think we had snatched it from their own backyard. What is so difficult about being happy for us, acknowledging our achievement, and giving us a fair chance? Why the bitterness, the endless negativity, and the desperate need to see us fail before we’ve even begun? Let #Rwanda have its moment. If we fail, someone else can take their turn. But why root for our failure before we’ve even had the chance to succeed?
Rwanda’s resilience has proven time & again that it should never be underestimated. Journalism should be a beacon of truth, not a weapon against a nation’s progress. @palkisu should reconsider her claims, remembering that words may capture attention, but only truth endures.

But people are really making me laugh! 😅😂 President Paul Kagame brought Rwanda back to life, and now some think bringing Formula 1 to Rwanda is the ultimate achievement. The man has been building a nation from the ashes. F1 is just another lap!

Cyril Ramaphosa on Rwanda’s victory at the Formula One Grand Prix. When an African nation rises, the entire continent should celebrate. Rwanda’s victory is not Rwanda’s alone; it is a triumph for Africa. Those who meet joy with jealousy must reflect on African unity.

Journalism has really lost its touch, because what exactly are we reporting here? #Rwanda’s capabilities? Human rights? The cost of F1? Make up your minds: @palkisu Discrediting #Rwanda is not news! #Rwanda competed, won the bid fair and square, and dressing bias up as journalism doesn’t change the facts.
