Take time to appreciate the things in your life. Appreciate where you are on your journey and how far you've come. Gratitude attracts more blessings.

As a man, what could genuinely make you stop supporting your children, especially when it comes to paying their school fees?
You can have all the differences in the world with their mother, but nothing should ever be used as an excuse to abandon your children.

Yes, JESUS HEALS. That is true.
Now, tell your daddy to go to Mulago and heal people in Jesus Mighty name.
I have seen other denominations go to the hospitals to pray for the sick. It would be nice to see daddy and his buddies do the same.
As for feeding Karamoja, daddy lied.
These are not stunts. And this post proves a serious point.
We went to Karamoja to feed people and save lives, while the audited places you talk about did nothing. We have put people through school, taken children off the streets, and helped raise many who are now doctors, lawyers, and teachers.
I understand the need to defend your dad. But regarding what you just mentioned, we already do those things. Ask any member of our church. When we bought tractors for Karamoja, we brought them publicly for everyone to see so that we could be held accountable.
Other churches, which, sorry to say, your dad defended, have raised money for church buildings that no one has built and for which no one can see any progress.
We feed new converts at our church. We feed thousands who attend meetings. We feed people, send food to those who have nothing, and even give to those who already have something.
Your dad never mentioned any of what you are now bringing up. He never talked about transparency, audits, or accountability. He simply attacked miracles with a clear lack of foundation.
My point still stands: no one here calls out Islam for its many dangerous issues. In September 2023, ADF and Al-Shabaab delivered a bomb to our church. No one called it out. No one said a word.
Pastors don’t perform miracles. My dad has made that clear at every crusade: “ROBERT KAYANJA DOESN’T HEAL. ONLY JESUS HEALS.”
It was the following day that your dad expanded the scope of his statement after receiving backlash, and rightfully so.
The Church and born-again Christians in Uganda are a net positive and a massive help to society.
During COVID, frankly speaking, people had no money for anything. People were struggling to eat and couldn’t move around. We went above and beyond by sending food out to those in need. We did the same in South Sudan and Kenya.
Again, we are accountable because when we say we will do something, we do it.
However, if you’re talking about raising money for a building and never building it, that’s not us!
By the way, we are audited by the URA. We have to give an account and keep our books in order.
We have a Bible college where we train and teach pastors and ministers. We hold youth conferences where we feed everyone for free. You can literally show up, eat, and leave, because our giving isn’t tied to whether you sit in church or not.
Again, I understand defending your dad, but this attack was wrong.
And watch this: backlash can be hard, but no one would make these kinds of statements about any other faith or religion

At the end of the day, no one owes you anything. The world isn't fair, and you're an adult. Do your work, stay strong, and expect absolutely nothing from anyone.

If the only time you call someone is when you need something, eventually your name becomes a request. You cannot keep withdrawing from relationships you never deposit into.
The giver may keep helping, opening doors, and creating opportunities. Eventually, they will find reasons why they cannot anymore. Reciprocity is a currency.
Call without needing. Bring an opportunity. Share information. Make an introduction. Give something back. Stop building your life around takers’ habits. Build the muscle of reciprocity. Even generous relationships eventually run out when all you do is withdraw.

It was a great privilege interacting with Rev Frida and Charlene of the Anglican Church of Sweden. We discussed widely on issues of gender perspectives and on capacity building for the clergy. Thanks to Act Alliance for choosing to work with Karamoja and North Karamoja Dioceses.
