It's not easy being a cap team in Canada and paying player salaries in US funds. Is the Quebec angle to help the bottom line? Or push the NCC along on a land deal?

The Caps are having a great season. Logan Thompson for a 3rd round pick has been a steal. A few smart moves have turned them into a Cup contender.

If Ullmark is back playing and healthy. I would be shocked if he sits out the 4 Nation Cup. The Swedes are very proud, and playing for the National team is a really big deal.

Amazing the Sens are 6th in the league in GAA. Team defense has been solid, but you gotta give lots of love to the goaltending trio.

Feeling for Bills fans. I'm sure the NFL is thrilled that the Chiefs and Taylor Swift are headed back to the Superbowl.

Really solid Sens weekend. They might not be scoring much, but they are winning with a playoff brand of hockey.

Great Sens win last night. There's something about the Leafs that brings out the best in them. Would love to see them meet up in the playoffs. Gotta give Forsberg credit, he's really stepped up without much run support. Pinto was rock solid in every area.

Korpisalo is now slotted perfectly as a backup tendy. He's 9-4-2 and feeling no pressure.

Sens need to rally and find a way to score some goals. They are thin up front in regards to offense, but still should be enough to find some puck luck.

Should be a playoff vibe for Sens vs Bruins tonight. Both teams have the same issues generating offense. With the wildcard standing so close, it would be cool to see a one game play in for both spots.

Sens look like a team that's playing their third game in four night's. Sometimes that's just the reality.

The Rangers gong show season has really turned around and they are very much in the playoff race.

You gotta like the Sens D slotting right now. It's certainly what I would use if entering the playoffs. Lots of chemistry and decent mix of size.

Sens only one point behind Tampa for third in the Atlantic. It's going to be a hell of a race down the stretch. Every game feels huge at this point.

Sens are on a really nice roll. Very much looking like a mature and well coached team, and one that should make the playoffs.

Tough loss for the Sens, but they played another strong team game. Ovi is pretty amazing. Not only chasing the record along with the Caps playing great hockey.

Thr Sens are playing another strong game against a very good Caps team. Both goalies look very sharp. Just need to find a little touch in the third period.

Just past the halfway mark of the season and the Sens lead the league with 7 shutouts. That's a pretty amazing turn around from the last year.

A healthy Ullmark with Merilainen looks like a really nice tandem going forward.

A really solid road win for the Sens. Nothing overly exciting which is perfect. Merilainen brings a very calming vibe. Also great to see Zub get his first of the year. He's been terrific since returning and Sanderson is looking like his normal self.
