A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

The russians have just murdered a baby and two adults in a park in the Kharkiv region, injuring seven more children and seven adults. Is this what America now supports? Child murderers? russia is cancer. Its accomplices are metastases.

Will Joshua Wong ever be free? The CFHK Foundation's Policy and Advocacy Manager @frances_hui spoke to BBC’s The Newsroom following Joshua Wong’s latest plea. Frances has known Joshua Wong since they were teenagers, protesting for democracy and freedom in Hong Kong. He's become an icon for their generation of Hong Kongers. On, Sept. 2, Joshua Wong pleaded guilty to a foreign collusion charge under Hong Kong’s National Security Law — a charge that could keep him behind bars for life. The facts cited by the prosecution in court all date from before the National Security Law came into force. All Joshua Wong has ever done is appeal to the world to pay attention to what is happening in Hong Kong. Now it's up to us to make sure the world is paying attention to him. #FreeJoshuaWong

Real terror: Russia is systematically attacking passenger trains in Ukraine A Russian Shahed drone attacked a passenger train in the Odesa region. There were 593 passengers on board, including 15 children, as well as railway crews. The train was stopped in an emergency, and the passengers were evacuated to safety. A drone also attacked an electric train at Lymanivka station in the Kharkiv region. Unfortunately, there were casualties: two women were killed. Another six people were injured, including an 11-year-old girl — the daughter of one of the women who was killed.

Portsmouth Naval Base, United Kingdom. Today, aboard the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth, UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham @andyburnham and I had our first meeting. We greatly appreciate that our team is the first to visit the United Kingdom since Andy Burnham took office. This is an important signal of support, and the Prime Minister assured us that this support remains unwavering. We discussed our defense – for Ukraine, it is important to have sufficient capabilities to protect lives both in the sky and at sea. We also discussed the development of joint defense production. I am grateful to the United Kingdom for today's decision to provide Ukraine with electronic warfare technologies to protect Ukrainian drones. This will certainly be useful on the battlefield. Together, we can achieve even more in the field of drones and other technologies. I invited Andy to visit Ukraine. Thank you, Britain!

Ukraine continues applying long‑range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the warriors of our Defense Forces hit targets across different regions of Russia that are fueling this war. Once again, a plant in Kirov was struck – the one supplying components for the weapons Russia uses to attack our people. That’s about 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. Also hit were an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov‑on‑Don. We also achieved very strong results with long‑range strikes in the Caspian Sea – including vessels used in military cargo shipments involving Iran, as well as a warship. Thank you for these results! Glory to Ukraine!

As of now, three people have been reported killed in Pavlohrad as a result of a Russian aerial bomb strike on an enterprise. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people have been injured. The Russians also hit Kherson with aerial bombs. Apartment buildings, ordinary homes, the regional children's hospital, and educational institutions were damaged. People were injured. Russia also struck critical infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions and launched missile attacks on the Odesa region. Every day, Russia continues to terrorize our people. It uses various kinds of weapons against Ukraine – guided aerial bombs, missiles, and drones. Ensuring our ability to defend against these attacks is critical. Our partners know what decisions can help. And above all, there must be no shortage of missiles for the Patriot systems. It's important that our partners hear this. We're working around the clock, at every level.

On the seventh anniversary of the 721 Yuen Long attack, police officers searched people commemorating the incident at Yuen Long MTR station in #HongKong. Over a hundred white-shirted attackers were captured on camera, but only 13 of them have been convicted and sentenced thus far. Meanwhile, people who acted in self-defence have been jailed. This is outrageous. Hong Kongers deserve transparency, accountability, and the truth. hongkongfp.com/2026/07/22/po…

We continue to respond to Russian strikes in a fully justified and accurate manner. Today, Ukraine’s long-range sanctions reached designated targets that support and finance Russia’s aggression. SSU units struck three oil depots in the Stavropol region at once, while units of our Armed Forces hit another fuel facility in the same region. Direct hits were recorded on three Russian shadow fleet tankers in the Black Sea. I thank every one of our units that is helping spread the realization in Russia that this war must end. Glory to Ukraine!

Overnight, Russia carried out one of its largest ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv. The enemy launched more than 40 missiles of various types – most of them against the capital – and 120 attack drones. As of now, one person has been reported killed in Kyiv and the region, and 16 others have been injured. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Everyone affected is receiving the necessary medical care. Emergency response efforts are continuing at three locations, with nearly 600 first responders involved. The relevant services are also working in the Odesa region. In total, over the course of this week, Russia has used around 1,450 attack drones, more than 1,640 guided aerial bombs, and 99 missiles of various types against Ukraine. People were injured in the Odesa region and Zaporizhzhia, and there was damage in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. This week, the Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Cherkasy regions also came under Russian attack. Protection against ballistic missiles is our constant and top priority right now. Interceptors are needed every day, and I am grateful to everyone who takes our agreements seriously and ensures the delivery of anti-ballistic capabilities. Right now, these packages are literally saving lives during every massive Russian attack. It is also essential that pressure on Russia continue alongside our work on anti-ballistic capabilities. Delays in adopting new decisions give Moscow the opportunity to plan not only new attacks against our people, but also ways to circumvent new sanctions. Thank you to everyone who is helping.
