Welcome to the “free” state of FL! As a reminder, the GOP threatened broadcast companies during the 2024 election cycle, and has targeted billboard companies too. If you want to stop corruption, address the affordability crisis, and get your freedom of speech back— vote Democrat!
BREAKING: The Republican Party of Florida wants a judge to pull a Democratic TV ad about the Hope Florida grand jury report. It says airing the report's "content, gist, or import" is now a crime.
The lawsuit, filed at 11:36 p.m. Friday in Highlands County, targets the Florida Democratic Party, its three statewide candidates and 11 TV stations in Orlando and Tampa Bay.
The party also referred the stations to FDLE and prosecutors. One copy went to the statewide prosecutor, who works in AG James Uthmeier's office. Uthmeier is the candidate the ad targets.
What the lawsuit leaves out:
- The grand jury report has been public since Aug. 26.
- The appeals court ruling it relies on isn't final until Friday at the earliest.
- The U.S. Supreme Court struck down part of the same secrecy law in 1990.
Early voting starts Monday in many counties.

The Supreme Court burns to the ground in Albania, Parliament and the Department of Education has been stormed, the Prime Minister is in hiding and the country is effectively in the hands of the rebels.
Albania rejects blatant corruption and their country being sold.

CougConnect took down the video of BYU DL Justin Kirkland admitting to the foul at the end of the first half of the BYU-Notre Dame game.
Here’s the full video ⬇
BYU DL Justin Kirkland admitted he yelled “hut” at the end of the first half, when CJ Carr’s spike was ruled a fumble, which would have been a penalty on BYU.
Carr attempted to spike the ball to stop the clock, but officials ruled it a fumble recovered by BYU after review. Notre Dame center Ashton Craig argued the call, but to no avail. xitter.cf/CougConnect/status/211…

Second straight week the Rams kicker has had to make a stop on a kickoff that broke out up the sidelines.
Just a comedy of errors out of that group through six weeks.

4th-and-1 in a 'gotta have it down'.
Could go to Puka on the jet sweep or to Kyren Williams who is great in those situations.
...or give it to your TE4 who hasn't taken a handoff in his 4 year NFL career.

Just so inexcusable for the Rams to get their kicker injured on his first kickoff because he had to make a tackle because the unit can't cover. What a mess.

And another angle. Defender’s hand clearly leaves the ball on the way to the ground.
I still stand by the fact that Mike should’ve taken the points when he had the chance to kick FGs, but this is egregious.

Am I the only person who clearly saw two angles of the Miami Hurricanes defenders’ hand come of the ball twice while listening to the replay control room say he had clear possession? I don’t have a dawg in the fight. I just wanna know if my eyes, ears, and brain are broken.

No dog in the fight, but PI doesn’t get any clearer than what the BYU defensive back did on the final play of that game to Notre Dame’s Jaden Greathouse. That’s a flag. If you don’t have the temerity to throw that flag there in Provo, Utah in that moment then you shouldn’t be on the field as an official.
