Don't forget that Mother's Day is next Sunday! I've got a few different designs and as usual, they are all printed on 100% recycled paper and come with home-compostable wrappers 🌱

🌿 Beliefs and Values 🌿
Day 3 of #marchmeetthemaker - I studied Environmental Geography at university and have known about the climate crisis before it was big news. I also work as an ecologist in my day job and have seen species decline first hand.
With my business I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible by using plastic free packaging (made from recycled paper where possible) and I plant a tree for every 10 orders through @onetreeplanted 🌱
I also believe that art should be fun and I absolutely love my job.
Hello! Today is the first day of March Meet the Maker and prompt no. 1 is "Brand Introduction!"
So here goes - my name is Jess and I run Silverpasta Crafts. I make handmade ornaments (mostly Christmas ones!) and am a digital illustrator inspired by wildlife.
I started the business in 2013 and it has changed a lot since then! The last couple of years I've developed the brand, designed a new logo (octopuses are my favourite animal ever)gone very environmentally friendly (plastic-free shipping and I plant one tree for every 10 orders!)
As well as worked on my USP (unique selling point - I'm an ecologist who is inspired by wildlife in my day job). After 8 years I'm still developing the brand and my products and would love you all to follow me on this journey! 🥰🌿🦋 #marchmeetthemaker
Thank you so much for all of your orders! I'm taking the last few cards to the postbox now so I can't guarantee any orders made from now on will be delivered in time for Sunday! 💕🌿
I've had a lot of people ask when they can purchase my Christmas tree decorations this year so my official release date for this year's decorations will be Fri 11th Sept! I still have over 500 to make so hopefully this will give me enough chance to finish them all before then! 😬
I've written my first blog on my website to celebrate planting 100 trees in partnership with @onetreeplanted Please do have a read if you have 3 minutes to spare! Thank you ☺️🥰🌱 silverpasta.co.uk/post/silve…
I'm excited to announce my Skomer Giclée art prints which I've created from all of my illustrations of Skomer wildlife! These are now available for pre-order and £5 from each print will be donated to @WTSWW to help conserve @skomer_island wildlife during lockdown! 🐧🦉🐸🦎🐬🦋
Three prints to choose from, including a collage of 30 wildlife illustrations, or single illustrations of a puffin or a manx shearwater, Skomer's most famous birds! A4 in size, unframed, printed on luxury paper, with plastic-free shipping.

Some exciting things arrived this afternoon! More info to follow but I have produced some Skomer Island prints from my illustration challenge, which I will be selling to raise more money for @skomer_island and @WTSWW
I finally got around to listing my "mix & match" option for greetings cards so you can get discounted prices for purchasing multiple designs 😁👍🏻(all made from 100% recycled card and come with home-compostable card sleeves!) 🌱🌍
Lovely to be interviewed by @Sarapasino - her awesome blog about @WTSWW and @skomer_island and my illustration challenge is below!
