BREAKING: REVOLT! Six Republican senators SLAM Trump's jaw-dropping "deal" to let Russian diesel flood the global markets despite Putin's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The signatories are Democrats Richard Blumenthal, Jeanne Shaheen, Dick Durbin, Sheldon Whitehouse, Jack Reed, and Chris Coons. The Republicans are Mitch McConnell (who is admittedly in such a degraded state that we most assume his staff signed on), John Cornyn, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis, and Alan Armstrong. “Allowing Russian-origin diesel into global markets will offer limited to no relief to Americans. It will have a negligible impact on fuel prices but the revenues the Kremlin will receive from this agreement will undoubtedly finance its desired war of attrition and advance security cooperation with China, Iran and North Korea,” they wrote. Their assertion that this deal could ultimately end up endangering U.S. service members who are fighting in the Iran War because of Moscow’s security cooperation with Tehran is particularly galling. Trump is desperate for this diesel deal because his pointless war has dramatically destabilized oil markets. But by handing Putin this massive gift, he is undermining the very same war that caused the crisis, while at the same time handing Russia money that they can use on more bombs, bullets, and drones to kill Ukrainians. It’s one big tangled ball of incompetence, malice, and bloodshed that could be solved if Trump simply ended his war. “For decades, America has stood as the bastion of freedom against tyranny, and American presidents have embodied our nation’s resistance to tyrants. BREAKING: SERIOUSLY, WTF!? Trump has a deeply bizarre moment and uses strange hand gestures, freezes up, and gets incredibly awkward after a reporter confronts him about Iran. The dementia is whooping his ass these days... After a reporter asked Trump about his disastrous Iran War, Trump glared daggers at him, got visibly annoyed, and then held up both of his hands in what can only be described as a Michael Jackson's Thriller-esque gesture. He then waved his hands up and down as the reporter tried to push for an answer. Trump then moved his hands to his ears, moved them forward again, and flapped them up and down in a fashion usually seen only in psych ward patients. "Bad!" Trump then managed to blurt out, turning away from the reporter with a frown. Trump then turned to look at the man again. "Are you hopeful for—" the reporter attempted. "Always Iran!" whined the President, giving a strange rictus grimace to the other reporters. "What will be your next step regarding Iran?" the reporter asked. Trump then gave an awkward smile to the others which, again, had the flavor of a dementia patient trying to hide their confusion behind a grin. If you've known someone suffering from serious cognitive decline, you recognize this frankly sad ploy. Patients, embarrassed by their own befuddlement, often try to mask that befuddlement, even as they're screaming behind their own eyes. Trump then opened his mouth to say something, came up short, and closed his mouth, again with that awkward forced smile. "Are you hopeful for peace?" asked the reporter. "Iran... Is a... Failed country..." the President finally managed. "They have no economy. They have 300% inflation. They have no money. They're not paying their troops. They're not paying their... They're not paying anybody. Uh... We'll make a decision on Iran very soon." So after all that windup, all that gathering of his scattered thoughts, Trump managed to vomit out a totally inane, meaningless answer. He's always about to make a decision on Iran "very soon" and inevitably no decision gets made. He's floundering, totally clueless how to fix this crisis that he created. Allow us to offer a plausible explanation for this disturbing little episode. People with dementia often suffer exacerbated symptoms when placed under extreme stress. So when a reporter asks Trump about his pointless, failed Iran War, he panics and his mind goes blank. Deep down he knows that this conflict has cemented his legacy as the worst President in American history. Not only has he been exposed as a warmonger, but he couldn't even win the war.
