Finally got around to changing this account. Only took like a month lmao. Planning to do some post series on Special Week's lesser-known descendants at some point, but for now I'm probably just going to Efforiapost about his soon to debut kids.
I really liked UmadacchiDensetsu's stuff a few years ago, but the quality of their writing has gotten worse recently, to be frank. They have some good analyses and others that are very questionable. They're ultimately just an unsourced fan blog and shouldn't be put on a pedestal.
this road to the top review is everything.. they nailed her perfectly

This was the last story event in which Spe was a major character. And it was almost 4 years ago on JP. 🥲
I hope everyone takes some time to read it since I really enjoyed it for what it was.

They got screwed, yeah, but that doesn’t mean they aren't liable for screwing over the fans as well by announcing this just 4 days out from the event.

i’m legitimately flabbergasted
i get that visas are hard and immigration is a pain, but..? to let people know of this risk 24 hours before being willing to call the concert off is astounding.
“hey guys the concert MIGHT be cancelled if we dont find out in the next 24hrs”
During preparation for the 7th EVENT: THE STAGE in LOS ANGELES concerts planned for Oct 22–23, 2026, we received notice that the visas for entry into the US had yet to be approved.
In response, we are coordinating with all parties concerned to explore every possible option to get the visas approved and make the concerts happen.
Our final decision on whether or not it will be possible to hold the concerts will be announced by 10:00 p.m., Oct 19 (PT), so we ask for your patience until then.
To all the Trainers who have been eagerly looking forward to the show, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern this causes, and for announcing this so close to the event date.
Please check the notice for details.
