New here or exploring A2A flips?
I run a real Amazon FBA business. For a long time, I sourced exclusively through online arbitrage and struggled with profitability and negative margins. Seven months ago, I started learning A2A flips and slowly transitioned almost all of my sourcing to this method. The difference has been significant — my business is now consistently profitable with strong net margins month after month. I’m incredibly thankful I discovered A2A. It’s completely changed the outlook of my business, and I genuinely believe it’s one of the most efficient and powerful sourcing strategies available on Amazon.
On this account I share:
• Practical A2A strategies and what’s actually working right now
• Real examples from my own sourcing (wins, challenges, and ops lessons)
• Tool setups and approaches that help find and evaluate flips faster
If you’re looking into A2A or want to improve your results, here are the two resources I recommend most (I earn a small commission if you sign up through my links):
→ FlipAlert (free 7-day trial) – the tool built specifically for A2A leads and filters:
whop.com/flipalert/flipalert…
→ The Buy Box community ($149/mo, includes FlipAlert) – advanced A2A scanners, daily leads, mentorship, and an active group of sellers:
whop.com/thebuybox/thebuybox…
**Bonus:** I’m offering a free 30-minute setup call to the first 10 people who sign up for The Buy Box through my link this month. Just DM me after you join.
I’m also opening limited paid 1:1 A2A coaching spots for people who want ongoing help building their process. DM me if that’s something you’re interested in.
What’s your biggest question or struggle with A2A or Amazon sourcing right now? Drop it below — happy to help where I can.
First leg of our seven day road trip in the books: Carmel, IN → Columbus, MS (2023 EQS 450 4MATIC), ~590 miles
New owner (6 weeks), and this weekend was our first real test.
Efficiency: 3.0 mi/kWh day one (258 mi, mixed + interstate), 2.79 day two (332 mi, rain + hills at 70+). Remarkably consistent.
Stop 1 @TeslaCharging at Buc-ee's Smiths Grove, KY: Used the official Mercedes NACS adapter with Plug & Charge — authenticated instantly, no Tesla app needed. 17→80% in 33 minutes, peaked at 200 kW. $38.80 billed seamlessly through MB.CHARGE.
Stop 2 — Mercedes HPC at Buc-ee's Athens, AL: This was the highlight. Native CCS, no adapter, Plug & Charge, and the car hit 204 kW — highest I've ever seen it. 27→90% (225 miles added) in 34 minutes, $41.16 at $0.50/kWh. Ten stalls, all empty, tucked behind the car wash. Poured rain all day and the whole experience was still effortless.
Total: ~$80 in charging for the trip — about half what our old Lexus would've drunk in premium.
Lessons for anyone pre-trip: route through native MBUX nav so preconditioning arms (arrived warm at ~17-27% both days and the curve delivered), and wipe the bugs off the front panel at stops — DISTRONIC shut down on us day two until we cleaned the nose.
Happy to answer questions — six weeks ago I'd never charged an EV. This car makes it easy.
I learned a lot by watching

DAY 63: THE END OF THE BUZZ SAGA?! WE’VE MADE OUR DECISION.
After 63 DAYS without our Volkswagen ID. Buzz, countless emails, phone calls, failed repairs, broken promises, dealer-caused damage, and more frustration than I can possibly put into words…
WE’VE ACCEPTED THE DEALER’S BUYBACK OFFER. Thank you to the 300+ people that gave their input.
That’s right. We’re walking away from the ID. Buzz.
The owner of Perrysburg Auto Mall offered us $57,227 to buy back our vehicle. We countered at $59,727, but he declined to budge.
After a lot of discussion, we’ve decided to accept his offer.
Is it everything we wanted? No.
Does it compensate us for the stress, inconvenience, lost time, and two months without our family vehicle? Not really.
But sometimes you have to decide when enough is enough.
We genuinely LOVED our ID. Buzz. We waited years for this vehicle, and when we finally got it, we thought we’d found the perfect family hauler.
Instead, we ended up with a $70,000 electric brick sitting at a dealership for more than TWO MONTHS.
And frankly, we’ve lost faith in Volkswagen’s ability to support this vehicle if something goes wrong again.
BUT HOLD ON. THIS STORY ISN’T OVER YET.
We’ve accepted the offer, but we haven’t received a penny. The paperwork isn’t signed. The loan isn’t paid off. And the vehicle is still sitting at the dealership.
So starting today, this thread is officially transitioning from the repair nightmare to the BUYBACK PROCESS.
How long will it take? Will Volkswagen and the dealer make this easy? Will there be more delays, surprises, or complications?
After everything we’ve experienced, I’m not taking anything for granted.
I’ll continue documenting the entire process until the check clears, the loan is paid off, and this chapter is officially closed.
I also want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has followed along, commented, shared, reposted, and helped bring attention to our situation. I genuinely believe the public attention played a major role in finally getting us to this point.
63 DAYS. ONE BROKEN BUZZ. AND FINALLY, A WAY OUT.
Now let’s see how long it takes to actually get our money.
To be continued….
WELL, WE FINALLY HAVE AN ANSWER FROM THE DEALER. NOW I NEED YOUR OPINIONS.
After more than TWO MONTHS without our VW ID. Buzz, the owner of Perrysburg Auto Mall has officially responded to my counteroffer.
Their final offer: $57,227 to buy back our ID. Buzz.
I countered at $59,727, asking them to account for the $2,500 financing rebate we received when purchasing the vehicle. They declined and are standing firm at $57,227.
For context:
2025 VW ID. Buzz First Edition 4Motion
12,572 miles
Out of service since August 10
Multiple unsuccessful repair attempts
Still no confirmed repair date
Dealer buyback offer: $57,227
My counteroffer: $59,727
The dealer says they’ve now involved Volkswagen’s Northeast Region Director, who is hopeful they can locate the necessary part within the next week. But we still don’t have an actual repair timeline.
Here’s the catch: The $57,227 offer is only available until they begin repair work. Once repairs start, the offer disappears.
And to be completely transparent, the offer is WELL ABOVE what we currently owe on the vehicle. We could accept it, pay off the loan, walk away with money in our pockets, and put this entire nightmare behind us.
But there’s another side to this.
We’ve spent over two months without the family vehicle we purchased. We’ve dealt with repeated failed repairs, damage to the vehicle while in the dealer’s possession, countless unanswered questions, and an unbelievable amount of frustration.
Accepting the offer means walking away from a vehicle we genuinely loved. And potentially walking away from pursuing additional compensation for everything we’ve been through.
SO HERE’S MY QUESTION TO EVERYONE FOLLOWING THIS SAGA:
OPTION 1: Take the $57,227, walk away, and never look back.
OPTION 2: Keep the Buzz, wait for Volkswagen to FINALLY repair it, and continue pursuing proper compensation for the extended loss of use, dealer-caused damage, and everything else.
OPTION 3: Something else? Negotiate differently? Pursue another avenue?
I’m genuinely torn. Part of me wants to take the money and be done. Another part of me feels like accepting this offer lets Volkswagen and the dealer off the hook for what has been an absolutely miserable ownership experience.
What would YOU do in our situation?
I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who’s been through a manufacturer buyback, extended warranty repair, or similar situation.
At this point, I think some outside perspectives would be incredibly helpful.
Day 2 of our first EV road trip in the EQS 450: Bowling Green, KY → Columbus, MS. 332 miles through all-day rain.
One charging stop: the @MercedesBenzUSA HPC hub at Buc-ee's in Athens, AL. Plugged in and hit 204 kW (!!!!) — the fastest this car can charge — and had lunch while it added 225 miles in 34 minutes.
No apps, no cards. Plug & Charge just works. @MercedesBenzUSA built something special here. ⚡🌧️

258 miles at 3.0 mi/kWh. One 20-min charge stop (at a Buc-ee's, obviously). $15 total. @TeslaCharging worked flawlessly.
Same drive in my old Lexus: $55 of premium.
Plugged in, walked away, ate brisket. No apps, no cards, no gas.
Starlink saves lives during natural disasters
India should absolutely have Starlink as an emergency backup 🇮🇳
India deals with natural disasters throughout the year.....floods and landslides in the north, cyclones and severe flooding across the coasts and south, and countless local emergencies in between
These disasters basically knock out cell towers, power and communication infrastructure in a blink
That is where Starlink opens up an entirely new lifeline
Think of how many human lives can be saved
Getting ready for our first week long road trip in our new to us @MercedesBenz EQS. I’ve tried to think through everything that we need to know and be prepared for ahead of time and thinking it should be pretty simple and very comfortable trip. Any suggestions for newbie EV road trippers? What should we know @Out_of_Spec?

True story about @FoxNews and @CBSNews
In network newsrooms, they typically had other networks playing on television monitors in the newsroom. That was a way they kind of kept track of what the others were doing.
As 24 hour cable news was invented, we began adding them to the repertoire. CNN, MSNBC, CNBC could be seen on monitors in the newsroom and individual reporters' offices.
Then, along came FOX.
I had just begun assignment at the CBS News Washington DC bureau and was interested in the new network. I quickly noticed that FOX had interesting news items sometimes day before the rest of us would pick them up!
It seemed to me that we and the other networks weren't monitoring FOX News in real time the way we were obsessively watching other news outlets.
Since nobody else seemed to be doing it, I put FOX News on my monitor in my office.
Newsrooms are funny because there is a lot of group think and you'd think it would be the opposite.
I'm pretty sure I got pegged negatively by some colleagues because I had FOX News on my monitor.
The fact is, I was being a responsible news monitor. Nobody else was. I would go into the newsroom and point out stories they had that were good. I would point out examples where we and others would pick up the same story days later.
Meantime, FOX News took off audience-wise.
One day Les Moonves, who was president and CEO of CBS Television, came to the Washington Bureau. This may be the only time I remember meeting with him there. He called a newsroom meeting in the conference room.
Les saw something was happening with the FOX News phenomenon. He posed a question to the room regarding the expanding, exploding Fox audience.
"Is FOX News touching upon something we should be paying attention to or is it just pandering to conservatives?"
I know what I thought. FOX News was touching something important. Until then, the news had widely been produced for a largely, though not exclusively, liberal audience. If we began diversifying our range and voices, we could pluck into that audience-- and heaven knows we needed audience!
I didn't speak up at the meeting. I was the new kid on the block and nobody really wanted to hear what I had to say, in my opinion.
Other correspondents and producer did speak up in one unified voice. "They're just pandering to conservatives." "Nothing to pay attention to."
I think we all missed an opportunity way back then to recognize we were too often talking past half of America, or a least a sizable chunk.
All news outlets have our strengths and flaws, but FOX News resulted in making us examine ourselves and, at times, reluctantly cover stories and issues that we tried to ignore.
Congratulations to Fox News for 30 years of work!

DAY 62: THE SAGA CONTINUES. 🚨
62 days without our Volkswagen ID. Buzz. And somehow, we’re STILL stuck in limbo.
After finally getting somewhere with the dealership owner regarding a potential buyback, we’ve hit another standstill.
No accepted offer. No rejected offer. No resolution.
But hey, we DID get a small update from Volkswagen regarding the repairs!
Apparently, they’ve received word that “some parts are becoming available.”
Sounds promising, right?
Well, here’s the catch.
VOLKSWAGEN STILL HAS ABSOLUTELY NO TIMELINE.
Not a repair date. Not a parts arrival date. Not even an estimated date for when our vehicle might be fixed.
Just that some parts are starting to become available.
We’re now over TWO MONTHS into this nightmare, and one of the largest automakers in the world still can’t tell us when they’ll have the parts necessary to repair a vehicle that’s practically brand new.
And remember, this is after multiple attempts to repair the vehicle with replacement parts that DIDN’T fix the problem.
At this point, we’re essentially waiting on two things:
A resolution to the buyback negotiations.
Volkswagen to figure out when they can actually fix our vehicle.
Neither has a timeline.
We’re trying to remain optimistic that a resolution is finally within reach, but every day that passes without an answer makes that increasingly difficult.
62 days. A $70,000+ family vehicle. Still sitting at the dealership.
The saga continues. 🚌💔
🚨 DAY 61: APPARENTLY MAKING A RUCKUS ONLINE MAKES A DIFFERENCE. 🚨
Well… this is interesting.
Over the last couple of days, I’ve had several people reach out to me anonymously saying that this thread is gaining some serious traction within Volkswagen.
Apparently, people are seeing it.
People are talking about it.
And pressure is being put on the dealer to MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN.
Or, to put it a little more bluntly:
Make a deal and shut this guy up. 😂
And you know what?
THAT’S ALL I’VE WANTED.
I’m not asking for some crazy payday. I’m not asking for special treatment. I just want someone to look at what has happened over these 61 days and actually make a reasonable effort to fix it.
Apparently that took the internet.
So I genuinely want to say THANK YOU to every single person who has followed this ridiculous saga.
If you liked a post, reposted it, quote posted it, commented, tagged Volkswagen, shared it somewhere else, or even just followed along…
THANK YOU.
Because out of EVERYTHING I have tried over the last 61 days, I honestly believe the negative attention online may be the one thing that finally made a difference.
And when I say I tried everything, I mean EVERYTHING.
I contacted the news.
I contacted lawyers.
I emailed seemingly everyone at Volkswagen I could find.
I posted anywhere I thought someone might listen.
I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General.
I called. I emailed. I followed up. And followed up. And followed up again.
I did literally everything I could think of to get someone to take this seriously.
And yet here we are on Day 61, and apparently the thing that finally got everyone’s attention was thousands of people watching it happen publicly.
THE INTERNET MATTERS.
We don’t have a deal yet.
The Buzz isn’t back.
This saga technically isn’t over.
But for the first time in a LONG time, it actually feels like there might be some real pressure behind the scenes to get this resolved.
So keep watching.
Because Day 61 might just be the beginning of the end. 👀

We’ve submitted our counter offer for slightly higher than the dealers offer.
After doing some research, my counter offer would match the price of the cheapest green 1st edition BUZZ in the nation. More than fair.
They are trying to defend their case with the BBB. If they just accept my offer, that will avoid headaches from all sides.
Now we wait for their response.
