Tekken's ranked system might be one of the worst ranked systems devised for a fighting game. GoD 6 and 7 are absolutely tedious to move through; simple mistakes can set you back hours of progress, and it doesn't even pool players correctly. One game can be against someone solid tapering between God 5 and 6, and the next game could be against a high-level player that's in GoD 6, and the game decides to take chunks of points away from you if they happen to be on one side or the other. If it wasn't for wanting to be consistently sharp with matchups and not wanting to pester people constantly, I wouldn't play this game mode at all; it's not fun at all and mentally taxing.
