Ah nasa victim card play na sila? Mga muntanga. Sino ba unang tumira sa 2 ppop groups for submitting to an award they claim is crumbs from their gods? Sumasali na din mga ka-fandom nila mula sa labas ng Pinas na akala mo eh alam ang pinagmulan ng lahat. Losers! 🤮

Its about damn time. Matagal na tayong may magagaling na artists, hindi din tayo nagpapahuli pagdating sa artistry. Suporta lang talaga ang kulang. Its nice to see OPM rising. Kayang kaya naman kasi talaga natin makipagsabayan. Ang gaganda ng mga likhang Pinoy.

LOL! There’s an ICD10 diagnosis for this behavior: F22.0 Delusional disorder - for persistent grandiose delusions that meet diagnostic criteria. Nurse, please call the Psych wing, we have one here who is off their meds.
They could have easily take the win, grab an achivement, make headlines. But nope, they stopped and realised it will be bad for the asian industry becausw they will be forever in the box of asian pop and not main categories! That's how they saved by going against it

Hahahahahah! If you really believe that, the moon is made of gold. So a conglomerate behind BTS (Big Hit E) partnering with a US entity, Gramophone Media did not pave their way into western music space huh? Now, this is true history revisionism. Tigilan mo kami.

Want to find out how SB19 began their journey from the very beginning to where they stand today? You might want to check this out. Their struggles are just like what your fave go through. Just so you know. Don't ever question the struggles and hardships SB19 has faced. You didn't even know they've met BTS before and admire them. It's shameful that the criticism comes from their own fans. 😑 youtu.be/xqEn7Z-CUs8?si=M7TW…

Don’t you realize this could be the start of something bigger once the Grammys discover how amazing Asian music is? I understand the concerns about racism, but don’t invalidate Asian artists’ eagerness to seize every opportunity they get to introduce their music to the world.
grammys put u in a box and then u say it's a door opening? they are literally trying to tie asians down and separate them from the rest of the world. WHY IN THE WORLD SHOULD MUSIC BE SEPARATED BY LANGUAGE OR REGION? art has no aliens.

what's so funny about this whole Grammys discourse is that artists are just reportedly submitting for considerations and haven't been nominated yet, but people are throwing tantrums as if the winners have already been declared. mind you, their faves didn't even submit anything 😂

Armpits being the biggest bullies in the room, lol. Damn, you guys are so loud about representation but so quick to tear down smaller fandoms and other Asian acts. The hypocrisy is actually insane. 💀
BINI and SB19 talk about submitting for the Best Asian pop music performance at the Grammys: "We see it as a door opening, not a box closing. It would show the world that the Philippines isn't just a market. It’s a source of original, world-class music."

SB19 spent 8 yrs paving their own road with blood, sweat, and tears to self-management. Taking global opportunities isn't a shortcut, it's laying the asphalt for PPop/OPM/SEAPop and stepping through every door they fought to open. @SB19Official #SB19 #GRAMMYs #SB19forGrammys

LOL at the comments and QRTs from THAT fandom. The hypocrisy is actually WILD. 💀 The irony of crying anti-Asian racism while mocking Asian artists for submitting to the Grammys' Asian category is something else. You're using racism as a shield to mask your frustration over your faves not winning or getting the recognition you expected, while ridiculing other Asian artists who are simply trying to get their music seen on a global platform. How does that make any sense? You can criticize the #Grammys for its treatment of Asian artists without belittling those who choose to participate. You cannot claim to fight for Asian representation while mocking other Asians for taking an opportunity to represent themselves. Let's be honest. This was really never about standing up for Asian artists. If it were, you wouldn't be looking down on Filipino artists for trying to bring their music to the global stage. You're bitter that your faves didn't get the outcome you wanted, Grammy celebratory cakes and all, so now you're taking it out on artists who have every right to try. You don't get to weaponize anti-Asian racism when it suits your narrative, then ridicule other Asian artists for pursuing the very recognition you claim they deserve. That's not advocacy. That's hypocrisy. And if you're genuinely against anti-Asian racism and advocate for Asian representation, where's that same energy when MAMA and AAA continue to center K-pop, while artists from Southeast Asia struggle to get the same opportunities and recognition? Oh, right. You're perfectly fine with the system when your faves are the ones benefiting from it. Suddenly, representation isn't an issue when the industry favors your idols. 💀 So let's stop pretending this is about Asian solidarity. You don't get to use that card while mocking other Asian artists. If you only believe in representation when it benefits your own faves, then you were never fighting for representation in the first place. You were fighting for exclusivity, not equality. And the moment other Asians try or get a seat at the table, your so-called advocacy crumbles because suddenly, it's no longer about breaking barriers, it's about protecting your idols' monopoly on recognition. That's not advocacy. That's entitlement dressed up as principle.
SB19 and BINI on why they submitted their music to Grammys’ inaugural Best Asian Pop Music Performance despite controversy: “We see it as a door opening, not a box closing. It would show the world that the Philippines isn’t just a market. It’s a source of original, world-class music.”

Is about time Pinoy fans support their own talent . Kpop idols just treating their Pinoy fans as back burner. Just additional market to add revenue. Time will come Philippines will come a source of talent and original Music. I believe in Pablo's dream. #SB19 @SB19Official

The rest of SEAblings are following suit… electing to support their local acts. How will Kpop survive when a big chunk of their audience disappears because they have alienated them? I couldn’t care less but that’s where things are going… clear as day. Kpop days are numbered.

K-pop stans looking down on other Asian music are acting just like Western pop stans who once looked down on everyone outside their bubble. That was only a generation ago. K-pop fans have gotten too big for their britches. Let’s talk again in 20 years.
