Having abdominal & back crisis & the haem reg via the sickle cell triage line is telling me to go to a hospital that doesn't treat adult HbSS. Someone is not doing their job & being lazy. This is not new, they have my hospital number. They can check my records @nottmhospitals
@nottmhospitals @NHSNotts the docs on call over the night are too lazy to read the notes from previous admissions and see what meds were given to the px. My last admission was Jan, the one before that was Nov/Dec & I was here for 3 weeks. Just to read the notes, they refuse to
@nottmhospitals @NHSNotts please look into ur registras that work overnight. I have been pleading for zoplicone 7.5mg for days now. The excuse is that because it's late, they will only give a low dose. Low dose that does nothing for me. 2 days ago I asked as early as 9pm but same
Since 9pm that the job was put out, they didn't prescribe it till past 12, then they gave the same excuse. Yesterday I didn't sleep until past 4 this morning. I do not have a line, I am not getting IV meds. I'm getting subcutaneous oxycodone so the excuse that because I'm on
@NHSNotts @nottmhospitals You really need to look into the care sickle cell patients receive at night from the doctors/registras on call. They do not care that we are in pain and sometimes can't sleep. A lot of times, they never come to check on the patient.
